Cozy, light-filled carriage house apartment in the Peninsula neighborhood close to downtown Iowa City, the University of Iowa campus, UI Hospitals and Clinics, the Iowa River Landing, Coralville, Ramen Belly, and dog park. 1-bedroom with pull-out queen couch. Central location that connects to several great trail networks including a quick bike ride to the Iowa River Landing. Guests have their own separate outside entrance and must access the apartment with a flight of stairs. The apartment does not share any walls with the main house and is above the garage. The space is very quiet. There is a queen bed in the bedroom and a pullout couch in the living room that could accommodate one adult or 2 children. Parking is free. There is a one-vehicle parking pad located next to the front door of the unit. The parking space is only for use by guests, so you will always have a place to park. There is a regular/standard outlet next to the parking pad that can be used for car charging. Additional free parking is available on the street. We are very happy to give our guests privacy and the space that they need, but we on located on site (in the separate main house) and readily accessible if anything is needed. Guests will be able to contact us through AirBnB or via text/phone. This carriage house is located in the lovely and safe Peninsula neighborhood. Long-term renters are very welcome and will receive a discounted rate.
