One Block to the Beach! Cozy Beach Cottage Kihei

Welcome to Chez Maui! This cozy 2-bedroom, 1-bathroom cottage is just one block from the beach, offering a peaceful and private retreat. Perfect for your vacation or for remote workers, traveling healthcare professionals, snowbirds or those in transition to longer-term accommodation. The cottage comfortably hosts up to 4 guests maximum and has been recently renovated. *Make sure to turn on your notifications for Airbnb Messaging.* The space We are located in a lovely, quiet, local neighborhood. The property includes a main house in the front where other guests stay. There are 4 steps to enter the cottage. Walk to the beach, Kalama Park, the Cove and Kukui Mall as well as shopping and restaurants. Please read all of the policies before requesting a booking to make sure our property is a good fit. (Below under “House rules”, “Show more”). If you have questions, click on “contact host” before making a booking request. Our listing is not child-proofed and contains tripping and falling hazards. It is also located close to a shared driveway. Due to these safety issues, our listing is not suitable for children under 10 years old. We do require all guests to arrive before 9 pm as check-ins can be noisy and disturb the neighborhood at night. It takes a minimum of 1.5 hours from landing to arriving at the house without any delays, so your flight would need to land by 7:30 pm. We recommend as early as possible flights, as we can often check-in guests earlier than 4 pm. Maui County short term rental licensing regulations do not allow anyone on the property except the registered guests. If you have friends or family in Maui, visiting or gathering will have to be at other locations. When requesting or inquiring, enter the number of guests and list each guests name as well as the time you are landing. Make sure to turn on your notifications for Airbnb Messaging. Guest access The cottage, back yard and outdoor shower. Other things to note Your personal email address will be requested at the time of booking. A signed short term rental agreement is required and will be emailed for your esignature. Guests booking the property must be staying at the property - 3rd party bookings or subletting are not allowed unless booking through a company account. We cannot accept check-ins after 9 pm. (All guests must check-in before 9 pm.) Owners live on the property. Beach chairs, beach towels, cooler and ice packs are provided. *There is not an outdoor BBQ grill or use of grill on site. *There is an outdoor security camera that monitors the driveway/entrance to the property.
