Nestled near the world-famous Big Hole River of Montana and the magnificent Pioneer Mountain Range, the Pioneer Mountain Cabins offer the best in country living. Located in the quiet country town of Melrose Montana, this area provides endless outdoor recreational activities for you and your family. April through December, we have four cabins that are within a short walking distance to one of the best fishing spots on the Big Hole River. The fishing is world-class, and the wildlife is abundant! The space Pioneer Mountain Cabins is a private getaway that provides modern accommodations while maintaining a traditional Montana cabin stay. Located in Melrose, Pioneer Mountain Cabins offers accommodations with a wrap around deck on the front and the south side of the cabins. The Pioneer Mountain Range is made up of magnificent mountains that are rich in wildlife and scenic beauty. Moose, deer, and elk are often spotted along the foothills, and occasionally you might even get a glimpse of a mountain lion or bear! Each of our four cabins is equipped with a small refrigerator, microwave, AC, satellite TV, complete coffee service, private full bathroom, firepit, and private deck. Two of the cabins have a queen size bed in the common area and a queen bed in a private bedroom. , and the other 2 cabins have 2 twin beds in the common area and a private bedroom with a queen bed. Cabins 1 and 4 have handicapped ramps to the main area of the cabin and a 36 in door for outside access. So for a wonderful Montana vacation located in some of the most scenic country in the west, the Pioneer Mountain Cabins are a perfect choice. You can fly into the Bert Mooney Airport in Butte or the Bozeman Yellowstone International Airport 110 miles from Melrose via I-90 West and I-15 S. There is also a airport in Missoula , Mt 147 miles from Melrose via I-90E and I-15 S. Rental Cars are available at all 3 Airports.
