Right-on-the-ocean, newly renovated, spacious, upscale condo in a gated boutique complex. Unbelievable views from the lanai, living room and bedroom. Close to everything! 1-2 blocks to Honl's beach, farmers market, restaurants, bars, and shops in Kailua Village. New king bed and queen sleeper sofa with memory foam mattress for up to 4 guests. Heated, ocean-front salt water pool with outdoor shower and community BBQ. Quiet; no noise from Ali'i Drive. Reserved parking spot. A/C. Elevator. Many vacation rentals in Kona claim "ocean views," but a glimpse of the ocean is a lot different than being absolute oceanfront. And of the few that are ocean front, many are spread out far from the center of Kona or the beach. Enjoy the best of all worlds with a right-on-the ocean condo that is just a block from Kailua Village and Honl's beach. When comparing to other condos here are some things to consider: * Is the condo absolutely oceanfront? * Will you get oceanfront views from the living room AND the bedroom? * Is the pool oceanfront? * Can you walk to town and the beach? * Is the condo in a quiet location (Many condos have a living room facing the ocean but the bedroom facing Ali'i Drive and the traffic noise). * Is there an elevator? * Does the condo have conditioning? Hale Kona Kai is a quiet complex where you will not hear the road noise from Ali'i Drive. Our large lanai provides perfect views of local surfers, not to mention seasonal whale and dolphin watching, boats, cruise ships, and more. The condo is bright and sunny, with the ocean views extending into the living room and bedroom. TOUR THE 3-D VIDEO on YouTube, search for "Ivy's Ocean Oasis." The condo was just completely renovated and updated with comfortable, upscale furnishings and style. Updates include a new walk-in tile shower, a new vanity, stone countertops, new appliances, new wood floors, all new furniture including a brand new king bed with all white linens and comforter, a queen sleeper sofa with a real memory foam mattress, new ceiling fans, new paint, new window coverings, and more. So treat yourself and relax. We have what you need. This condo lets you leave your car behind as you walk to Honl's beach, to grab a cup of coffee, an ice cold beverage, a meal, live music, a massage, tennis courts, souvenirs and more. There is also a heated saltwater pool equipped with everything you need--lounge chairs, an outdoor shower, a dining area, and a communal BBQ. Don't want to drag groceries and suitcases up stairs? Take the building elevator (not all buildings have one). Feeling hot? Turn on the A/C. We also supply towels, beach towels, snorkeling equipment, boogie boards, beach chairs, beach umbrellas, a lunch cooler, coffee, body wash, lotion and more. Guests will have the entire condo and private lanai to themselves. Outdoor pool is a shared space. Private parking in a numbered spot. Aloha! Ours is a self check in and self check out condo. We try to leave guests everything the need to have an amazing and relaxing stay. In case of a problem, guests can contact us, as well as our on-island contact, and we will respond. One block from the charming village of Kona and a block from Honl's beach, this is one of the few locations on the Big Island where you can get to everything you need without a car. There are lots of great restaurants nearby including Huggo's, On the Rocks, Bongo Ben's Island Cafe, Island Ono Loa Grill, Kanaka Kava, The Kona Inn, and more. Go for drinks at happy hour at Huggos or On the Rocks and watch the sun set over the ocean at discount prices. You can also eat beachside at Huggo's and enjoy the live hula music. If you are looking for something lively, try Don's Mai Tai Bar which is just a couple of doors down in the Royal Kona Inn, and has live music every night. Or for morning (or afternoon!) caffeine, Island Lava Java and (a bit further) Kona Coffee Cafe can both deliver. No car? No problem. Walk to everything. An oceanfront sidewalk takes you a couple of blocks downtown, or head south for the beach. The complex is right near a bus stop or you can rent bikes, scooters, take a taxi, or of course, an Uber or Lyft.
