Modern Luxury 2BR King & Queen Apartment
Keep it simple at this peaceful and centrally-located apartment. Minutes from Princeton and all your local universities. Whether you're here for work, a gathering, or simply need a place to unwind, we've got what you need. 28 Lawn Park is a quiet, residential street, yet only a block away from Rt. 206, a main thoroughfare, which leads quickly to I-295 and a paradise of shopping on Rt. 1. It's all less than 10 minutes away. Or, stay local and walk to neighborhood pizza shops, deli's and other retail businesses. Since you’ll be about 15 minutes from Princeton at 28 Lawn Park, at least one visit to what is probably the most iconic town in all of New Jersey is in order. Founded before the American Revolutionary War, Princeton has been ranked 15th of the top 100 towns in the United States to live in by Money magazine. It offers many of the finest restaurants in the area, an unparalleled youth/student vibe, cultural activities, art, theater, and the iconic university grounds where the movie IQ was made with Walter Matthau, Meg Ryan and Tim Robbins. One of us was an “extra” on the set. Everything is walkable. Look for the parking garage on 25 Chambers Street if you can’t find street parking. Rt 1 is an endless shopping and restaurant scene. Choose from the huge Quakerbridge Mall, or Mercer Shopping Center across the highway. Both have a Starbucks, if you prefer a caffeine boost while you shop. Or, visit Nassau Park Pavilion a half-mile down the road from them. Whatever you want, these malls have it. In the mood for a movie? Cinema 24 (screens, that is, including Imax and XED) is a 10-minute drive. Oodles of parking and nearby restaurants provide before- or after-movie dining. If the outdoors is your path to enjoyment, try the area's hiking and biking trails: Lawrence Hopewell Trail, Mercer Meadows or Pole Farm at Mercer Meadows. We also suggest you visit the “river towns” of Lambertville, NJ, and New Hope, Pa, across the river from it. Like Princeton, these historic colonial settlements invite visitors to enjoy the coffee shops, art and antique shops, fine- and casual-dining restaurants, wine tasting and theater. People-watching in New Hope is a favorite pastime. Better to park in Lambertville then walk over the small bridge to New Hope. You get great views of the Delaware River and the chance to take some photos you’ll treasure. Then, of course, we would be remiss if we didn’t mention our own Chimney Hill Estate Inn B&B in Lambertville, NJ, a quick half-hour drive. It’s the next thing to Heaven at the top of a hill on 8.5 acres of bucolic bliss. We’ll show you our 5,400 sq. ft. Colonial and its 8.5-acre grounds. When you return for a weekend of fun, be sure to stay there. Search online for directions and hours of operation for these places.
