Mountain Adventure and Yellowstone Getaway

December 1-April 30 is snowmobile access only! Forget your worries in this spacious and serene space, or use it as a jumping point for all of your adventures. In winter: The Beartooth Highway is not plowed during this time, so Cooke City is “the end of the road” in the winter. We do have a tracked SUV that we can use to transport people and gear in from either the Cooke City or Pilot Creek side. Please make arrangements before arrival. The space Stairs required for entry. Full kitchen with everything you need to prepare all of your meals. Seating for 6 at the kitchen table. TVs on every level and 2 seating areas for relaxing. Guest access In the winter months there is no vehicle access to the house - you must snowmobile in from Cooke City (3 miles) or from the Pilot Creek parking area on the Wyoming side. You must provide your own snowmobile or we can arrange a ride up in our tracked vehicle. The cabin is located just east of Daisy and Lulu pass. Other things to note There aren’t many restaurants or stores close by so plan on bringing provisions. We recommend grocery shopping in Gardiner, MT or Cody, WY, depending on which way you’re traveling in. We do have two roll-away beds in the downstairs living area and that can increase our sleeping capacity to 12.
