Looking for a beautiful, upscale, comfortable place to stay? The Hawkeye Retreat is nestled in a safe and quiet neighborhood close to the University of Iowa, shopping, and restaurants. We are 5 minutes driving from the restaurants and shopping on the Coralville strip and 8 minutes from Kinnick Stadium. Newly built in 2021, with all new furniture and decor. Features: blackout curtains in bedrooms Keurig coffeemaker 1 GIG Wifi smart TV/ roku TV Pull out chair sleeper Shampoo/Conditioner/soap The space The lower level has a mudroom coming off of the attached 2 stall garage. On the main level, you will find a large, open, and well equipped kitchen featuring a large island with stools as well as a coffee bar with Keurig coffee maker. There is a half bath powder room off of the kitchen. A dining area with seating for 6 nearby. The kitchen area opens to the living area with a smart tv as well as some board games for all ages. On the upper level there are 2 large bedrooms each with a private attached bathroom. The first bedroom has one king sized bed with a shower. The second bedroom has a queen bed with a small pull out sofa chair (twin size). The attached bathroom has a bath tub/shower combo. Both bathrooms are equipped with a shampoo/conditioner/bodywash dispenser for your convenience. There is a washer and dryer in the unit. You are 5-10 minutes drive from all of the shopping and dining in Coralville and Iowa City. There are hiking trails nearby. Guest access There is a 2 stall garage and plenty of free street parking. To access the garage, you must download the free MyQ app on your phone. If you do not wish to use the app, you can still open the garage from inside the house. For security purposes, we do not give out the permanent code to the garage keypad. Other things to note **We welcome and consider travel nurses/medical professionals** STAIRS: There are two flights of stairs. One flight from the garage to the main floor, and one flight from the main floor to the second floor with the bedrooms. If stairs are an issue for you, this may not be the best home. NO PARTIES: This is a quiet residential area and not a place for loud guests or parties. PETS: At this time we do not accept pets of any kind (Sorry, we understand they are family!) RING SECURITY CAMERAS: We have two external security cameras
