Experience the day coming alive over Mauna Kea while enjoying a cup of Kona coffee; evening refreshments admiring lush vegetation and tropical birds all from our nicely appointed lanai. Being offset from activities on Alii Dr and away from other buildings, we have a peekaboo ocean view with quiet and privacy. Magic Sands Beach (surf and boogie boards) is a walk down the driveway while snorkeling at Kahaluu Beach is a short walk along Alii Dr. Centrally located for food, fuel, fun and excursions Cleaning fee is $200 TA/GE-082-337-2288-02 ** starting 1-1-22 the County of Hawaii has assessed an additional 3% HCTAT Please take note at time of booking that our BASE price is subject to change to reflect low/high season rates and is based on double occupancy. The rate you pay will be reflected at the time of booking. The rate changes are dependent on the seasonal activities as well as holiday and special event months; an additional fee of $10p/p-p/night for parties of 3-6 people will also affect the final price. Open concept; sleeps 6 (Cal King, 2 twins, Queen sleeper sofa) Newer furnishings and freshened up; AC plus five ceiling fans, three TVs (Roku, Cable, Wifi) stereo set up for Blue Tooth; kitchen with full size appliances AND coffee maker, toaster, toaster oven, blender, hand mixer, rice cooker, crock pot; Our lanai easily accommodates six plus two beach storage lockers with all the items you will need. (chairs, noodles, matts, beach blanket, ice chests, boogie boards and snorkel gear; beach towels are provided in your linen supply. *Guests are responsible for exercising Covid safe protocols when using snorkel gear. Owner and host assume no liability. Complex is easy to navigate and offers much to guests: pool, hot tub, sauna, pool table, tennis courts, grills and outdoor dining under a pavilion that is poolside as well as a grill easily accessible to our unit. Parking is free. Our unit has two (tandem) assigned garage spaces right below. The elevator is merely steps from unit 130's parking spaces and likewise to the condo entrance. Our unit is also equipped with safety support bars in the shower area of both bathrooms. Our On Island Agent Kitty will be available to answers questions or assist our guests. Complex is on Alii Drive famous for the route of the Iron Man Challenge and is very scenic indeed. Condos, homes, churches and small businesses can be found spread out between Kona town and Keauhou. Across Alii Dr. from our complex is a great surfing beach and restaurant. Our location is almost right between Kona town shopping/entertainment and Keauhou Shopping Center that boasts restaurants, a movie theater, grocery and drug stores. Many ocean day trips leave from nearby Keauhou Bay. Our condo complex provides "assigned" parking, while along Alii Drive, there is limited public parking at "beach park" locations as well along the roadside where space allows. There is a public trolley, charging a nominal fee that runs from Kona Town down the length of Alii Drive. The trolley stop is at the end of our driveway near Magic Sands Beach public parking. To receive a full refund, guests must cancel within 48 hours of booking; full refund if trip cancellation at least 14 days before check-in; 50% refund if trip cancellation done 7-13 days prior to arrival (personal policy of owner): on a case by case basis, intent to extend 50% refund if cancelled at least 48 hours prior to arrival. ** We strongly suggest purchasing trip insurance to cover any last minute personal or public emergencies. White Sands Village complex follows a no smoking policy. Our unit is unable to safely accommodate parties with young children under the age of 12. Additionally, we are not able to accommodate more than our "maximum" occupancy of 6 people. We are new to AirBnB as of Sept 2021 however, we operated through a different site intermittently before/after covid shutdowns. Eleven reviews were posted giving us an average rating of 4.9 out of 5. Consistently our location, the complex amenities and our "personal touches" were appreciated.
