Enjoy swimming or skating in the crystal clear waters of this kettle pond. It is indeed an enchanted place, yet so close to Boston.You'll leave the rest of the world behind you walking down the gravel footpath from the road, about 120 feet. The house is fully stocked with cooking tools and bath towels. The bed and linens are first rate for a very comfortable stay. It is indeed an enchanted place, yet so close to Boston. This winter we are offering our secluded single family home for three month rental, 15 December - 15 March, or 01 January - 31 March. The house is heated with two mini-splits but you may enjoy the flickering light gained by firing up our pellet stoves as well. One stove is located in the bedroom wing, the other in the living room. Enjoy skating, ice fishing, and cross country skiing right outside your door when the weather is right, peace and calm when the weather is harsh. Access is a walk down a steeply graded footpath (100 yards from parking). The path is lit with footlights but there are no street lights so it is best to come during the day.
