Take your time and just breathe. Morning coffee on the lanai just might take your breath away. Sit back and relax to the lovely songs of the birds, coos of the doves, the trade winds rustling the palms and breathe in the scent of the Plumerias. Walk the beach and drink in the sun. If you meet more than half a dozen people on the beach it is a busy busy day. At night you will be lulled to sleep by the sounds of the surf crashing on the beach. Welcome to paradise. The space You will feel right at home at Hale Aloha. Our condo has recently been completely remodeled and updated and you will find it sparkling clean. The kitchen is stocked with essentials and all the utensils you will need to prepare everything from meals to margaritas. A convection microwave oven will thaw, heat, bake or roast whatever you have on the dinner menu. The water in the kitchen is filtered for your convenience. There is an indoor table for four for dining, or if you are like us, you may prefer to sit on the lanai in the comfy retro swivel lounge chairs and custom tile topped bar height table. This is where the magic happens. Watch the dawn colors spread across the sky while you enjoy your morning coffee. Keep an eye out for water spouts on the ocean! Between December and May the Kohola (Hawaiian for Humpback whales) spend their winters in Hawaii too! You will find a comfy queen size bed, with a 3-inch memory foam topper, in the loft and an overhead fan to keep you cool on warm nights. The temperature on the west end of Molokai cools off nicely at night which makes for a comfortable sleep. (There is no a/c in the Kepuhi Beach Resort units.) A 40-inch Roku tv is mounted above the bed for watching DVDs or Netflix. There is also a growing collection of DVDs, books, puzzles and games for you to enjoy. The large chest of drawers will help you keep your belongings organized and tidy. On the main floor there is a 46" Roku tv and Bluetooth sound bar for your entertainment. We have fiber-optic internet. The sofa folds down to make a cozy queen size bed for those who like to snuggle and cuddle or maybe for afternoon naps. There are linens, blankets and pillows to make up the sofa bed stored in the coffee table/chest. The bathroom is freshly tiled and stocked with lots of towels and shower products for your use. There is also a washer and dryer available to you. We provide some laundry pods, dishwasher liquid, and paper products to get you started. For your trips to the beach, you will find beach chairs, umbrella, beach towels and a cooler. Ice packs are in the freezer. Guest access Our condo is about 120 yards from the parking lot and is on the second floor (there are no elevators); just far enough to stretch your legs after a drive to town. There is unassigned parking available. We have a cart for carrying your groceries from the parking lot to the condo. PLEASE NOTE: the spiral staircase in our unit is steep and may not be suitable for people with mobility issues.
