Situated on an 8.5 acre fruit farm along the Hamakua Coast, Royal Palm Cottage will provide you the authentic feel of Hawaii country living. As you enter the estate you will marvel at the breathtaking views of mature Royal Palms, Black Bamboo, ocean views and many other tropical Hawaiian flowers. Akaka Falls State park is 6 miles from us. A Boarding dog Kennel shares a portion of the property. Barking can be heard 8 am-10am depending on season. It is Best if guests LOVE & understand DOGS. The space A newly built private 1 bdrm., 1 bath with tiled shower, kitchenette, dinning area and living room will welcome you home after a day of exploring. Amenities include a dry sauna, Koa wood floors, queen bed, air conditioning, ceiling fan, dimmable lights and a private lanai. Convertible sofa (72") and 2 floor mattresses (sheets & pillows provided) for extra guests. Cottage is attached to the main home with 15 foot breeze way and storage area between. Guest access Please park in front of the sign. Parking area fits 3 cars. There is a nice nature walk thru the Royal palms and down the side of property to have ocean view. Daily Kennel business hours are 8 am to 12pm. Dogs drop off and pick up by appointment. Dog barking can be heard 8-10 am. If wild pigs are roaming, dogs may bark at night and early mornings. Best if guests understand this up front. Other things to note The estate is .7 miles up Chin Chuck Road, off of Highway 19. Highway 19 circles the entire island. A Boarding Kennel for dogs share a portion of the property. Dog barking 8am -10 am during feeding, occasional litters of puppies 2-3 times a year may be heard. Cottage is insulated for sound reduction. Air conditioner and Ear plugs are provided to muffle the sound if needed. Dogs maybe added as an extra guest but must reside in the boarding kennel. $25 per pet per night **consult me directly. Coqui frogs may be heard at night. Registration details 84-1886890
