There's a shady courtyard for relaxing between your adventures of all that New Orleans has to offer. Parking is ample. There are plenty of amenities and essentials from a Roku TV to newly renovated kitchen with plenty appliances.. Just a few blocks to Magazine St, transportation, and the river. Welcome long term stays. Feel free to ask questions. The space Great location! One of New Orleans safest neighborhoods. close to French Quarter. Lower garden district charmer. Just a short walk to Magazine street. You will find everything you need there... restaurants and cafes, a few blocks away to the Bulldog Pub, as well as market and pharmacy, fun and refined shops and boutiques. The Irish Channel is a great cultural area... You can walk or bike (blue bike stand 4 short blocks away on Magazine St), or sit in the courtyard and listen to the songs of birds on the banks of the Mississippi it has a timeless feel. The house is a converted carriage house from the early 1800s. It has great local art mostly by local atisan Mike True throughout. It is simple and ample. For those hot summer nights it has central air to keep you cool. Newly renovated kitchen which has most of your dining needs met, from a crockpot, stove, and microwave to an Oster power blender, wine opener, plus an ice making Samsung full refrigerator, and a keurig coffee maker for your coffee pleasure. There is a balcony and a large yard with Rose's, herbs. and trees. Off street and plenty of parking available. There are two bedrooms... one large room upstairs with its own TV and refrigerator and a small room downstairs next to living room; each bedroom has a queen bed and they are private with their own door. Full bathroom (stand alone not thru bedroom) renovated with marble floors. There is a Roku TV with netflix, you tube, etc for your viewing and listenng pleasure in living room! There is a new Samsung high efficiency washer and dryer. There is a public swimming pool two blocks away in summer. Lyons Rec Center open in the summer. 8 blocks to St Charles streetcar and two blocks to bus. 25-NSTR-40115, 25-OSTR-39899 Guest access You have a shady courtyard to relax in on lovely days abounding with roses... A balcony to enjoy the garden from upstairs Central Air to keep cool on those summer days and warm you up on those wintry days. There is a free pool two blocks away at the community center during summer. There is off street parking. Two private bedrooms one small downstairs and one large with daybed, TV, table with chairs upstairs. Both have Queen beds. Full bathroom with amenities, towels, and marble floor. Full kitchen with many extras... New refrigerator, microwave with slim fry, keurig and regular coffee maker crock pot, wine opener etc. Of course plates and utensils for the dining table. Living room with Roku Tv. Other things to note I welcome long term stays. I have had a number of individuals call the Historic Carriage House home when movies, school, work, or leisure have called for a longer stay. I also welcome last minute resevations.
