Hale Hina is a well appointed vacation rental home situated at the edge of the world-famous Napali Coast and some of Kauai's best beaches! Surrounded by lush tropical greenery and turquoise views of the Pacific Ocean steps away! Hale Hina, Haena Permitted Vacation Rental Property - TVNC#1297 Transient vacation rental is located in the tsunami evacuation zone Hale Hina is a luxurious, contemporary home that provides guests with a stunning ocean-based setting, high-end comfort and an ideal location. Just two hundred feet from the ocean, it is nestled among large palms and coconut trees that provide an estate-like feeling of privacy. Views of the ocean can be seen from the lanai, living room and master bedroom. Tasteful furnishings are found throughout the house and numerous decorative touches create a feeling of elegance and comfort throughout the home while sky lighted ceilings bring a heavenly glow inside. This home is an easy walk to the world class Tunnels Beach, where you'll find some of the best snorkeling and swimming on Kauai. You can walk out of the house with your morning coffee, down a short garden path, and be on the beach in less than a minute enjoying a secluded ocean vista in nearly complete privacy. The short walk from the house to Tunnels Beach passes whitewater waves crashing along a crescent-shaped cove, and is one of the most beautiful beach walks in all of Hawaii. This light and open home has three large, tastefully-decorated bedrooms (K,Q, Q+Day Bed) and three and a half bathrooms. The spacious master bedroom features a lovely ocean view and the huge master bathroom includes a double shower and a jetted tub. That’s what we think of Ha’ena. That’s why two families and close friends own Hale Hina – to own a slice of heaven. Welcome to our home. After many years vacationing in Ha’ena, our dream was to have a home of our own for our friends and families to enjoy for generations to come. Hale Hina is the realization of this dream, and transforming this house into our home has been our passion. That’s why when you stay at Hale Hina, it doesn’t feel like a rental property - it feels like home. Magic happens in Ha’ena, rain or shine. Sunrise, or sunset. We simply love this place. And we love our home. We are thrilled to share it with those who can appreciate the simplicity and majesty of Ha’ena and the warm, easy, comfortable accommodations that we’ve created at Hale Hina. Whether enjoying the ocean breezes from the deck, relaxing on the patio below the home, or sitting in the sand steps from the front door, we hope you discover the same joy and tranquility in Ha’ena and in our home. Haena State Park - Please note: if you wish to visit the very end of the road during your stay, you will need advance reservations. Reservations are now required for all vehicles, walk-in entry, and shuttle riders visiting Ha'ena State Park, as well as for day hikers accessing the Kalalau Trail. Reservations may be made up to 30 days in advance, and no later than the day before your visit. This rental is professionally managed by Makana Kauai Properties Permitted Vacation Rental Property - TVNC#1297 Transient vacation rental is located in the tsunami evacuation. Corresponding evacuation procedures are noted in the registration email. Please take extra care with driving directions and allow extra time for getting to this property. Once you arrive you will find the house key located in the lock box near the door. You have the entire house and yard to yourself. There is a pathway to the beach along the property for easy access and hours of fun in the sun! Our entire staff lives close by and are more than happy to share our knowledge about the island and why we love Kauai. Feel free to reach out with any questions you might have or any needs that come up during your stay. For people who prefer seclusion among the majesty of green, mystical mountains and swaying palms, travel to the north shore of Kauai, where you’ll find at “the end of the road,” a peaceful place called Haena. Located about 5 miles (8 km) west of Hanalei, you’ll find the most isolated community on the Garden Isle; whose best feature is what it lacks – hotels and stores. Travel across several one-lane bridges and along the mountain-hugging road to reach your home away from home. To take full advantage of everything Kauai and the North Shore we recommend renting a car (Jeeps and Convertibles are especially fun!). Uber & Lyft have barely gotten started so if you’d prefer not to rent a car taxi services are available or with a little research to figure out the schedule, you can take public transportation. For the safety and comfort of you & your neighbors we’d like to note a couple of important things to remember while on Kauai. Please remember you are in a neighborhood - we ask that you extend Aloha to your neighbors and keep noise to a minimum, especially before 8:00am and after 9:00pm. While enjoying our beaches we ask that you are mindful of the surf and encourage you to swim at lifeguarded beaches only. The North Shore of Kauai has several quaint, historic bridges which require an extra consideration of Aloha! These bridges are one-lane only. Local etiquette is to allow 5-7 cars to cross at one time. Please be considerate and courteous. Be sure to drive with Aloha! Relax and enjoy your vacation! Kick-back and make yourself at home!
