Sanssouci Fishing Camp and Rural Retreat

Two bedroom fishing camp in lower Montegut, located near some of the best fishing in the area. We have a private launch on Bayou Terrebonne for your free use, or if you prefer the Pointe aux Chenes or Cocodrie marinas are just 20 minutes away. Sleeps 6 with fully furnished kitchen, and ample parking space for boats and cars. Fish cleaning station and crab boiling and fish frying equipment provided. Pets allowed for $40 fee. Free wifi. Our retreat is an hour and 30 minutes from New Orleans. The space Area is also an amazing spot during Spring and Fall migration for birders. With 3 Mulbery trees and proximity to the gulf the assortment of migratory birds rivals Grande Isle. Other things to note We have Ring doorbell camers on both the front and back porches. They will be placed on snooze during your stay, and can be disarmed at your request.
