Like a treehouse in the sky, the most incomparable views of Kaneohe Bay away from this house, near shopping, beaches, hikes, and all the windward side of Oahu has to offer. 2019 Hyundai Veloster can be rented, as well as additional rooms other than the one-bedroom being listed. Note, the one-bedroom room is really best for up to two people, but there is an adjacent bedroom normally not in use that may be made available. Please inquire about either with the rental request. The space The house sits in and around the treetops, upon a rock roughly 100 feet above sea level. It is above almost all of its neighbors and the ones it is not higher than, are far away. It is above all else, very private, sitting on 1/2 acre of one of the tallest peaks by the bay. The views from every window are amazing and include the ocean, bay, and mountains. People can not stop raving about the view, the air, the light, when in the house. I often find myself not wanting to leave when I'm here. The house is a large 3 bedroom. The main guest room being rented is at the end of a hall, with its private bath just outside its door. It can be screened off, effectively making the bath ensuite. The room is 14 x 16 with a queen-size bed and large 100" wide windows to enjoy the view. The kitchen, dining room, and living room would be shared with me and my dogs if I'm around. The option to rent the entire house is possible, please inquire. Outside are an upper wrap-around lanai with a table and chairs off the living room. Downstairs is an enormous lower lanai, which admittedly, needs some work, but there are two wooden lounge chairs to enjoy the sun. A small charcoal grill is available for cookouts. Guest access The house is at the end of a dead-end street atop a hill. There is a reserved free parking spot at the bottom of the stairs (you park and walk up the stairs to the house). The area is extremely convenient. It is about a mile from the house to the nearest bus stop, shopping center, and mall. About 1.5 miles to several parks. Kailua and Kalamas beaches are about 15 minutes to the east, Kualoa Ranch is about 15 minutes to the north. Kaneohe is conveniently located where the H3, Like Like and Pali Highways meet, giving easy access to the airport, downtown, or Waikiki. Other things to note The house is not perfect. The stairs from the parking area are a lot to go up and down each day. Both lanais are not in as good shape as they could be, and overall the home has some wear and tear. Add to this, it is being rented as a share with an owner who has two small friendly (and usually quiet) dogs. With that said, it's a wonderful house. The views make everything worth it and are hard to be matched anywhere else in the world. Plus the dogs are super sweet and the owner is a pretty decent fellow if I can say so myself. I mention all of these other things because if someone is expecting perfect then it's not the right place. It is not a hotel experience, but it is a wonderful home experience. The room is fairly basic with a queen-size bed, closet, and small desk/chair, but it does have a very large window with the same spectacular views as the rest of the house.
