***COVID-19 CDC COMPLIANT*** Stay in 2nd & 3rd floor in vintage (circa 1888) home to accommodate your larger family/friends gatherings. NO PARTIES/EVENTS. Close to NYC and close to one of Main Street USA's designated places to visit. Restaurants, bars, shopping, museum and other fun things to do are in walking distance. The train is about a 15 minute walk and you can be in Manhattan, NYC in 30 minutes. Walk to bus in 700 steps to NYC. Accommodates up to 11. ***COVID-19: I have always gone above and beyond to clean, sanitize and disinfect. In fact, the CDC regulations were no surprise to me. Every linen and towel go through a 4 hour sanitize/anti-bacterial process.*** This is a 3-story home and I live on the first floor. The second floor is spacious with 2 bedrooms, full kitchen with dishwasher, full bathroom and a dining room. The third floor is both cozy and spacious with a kitchen with window nook seating area for two, a bedroom, bathroom with vanity area and a living room. You and your family/friends will have plenty of room to relax and make happy memories. You may use the second and third floor, parking and the yard. Because the porch wraps around my apartment, it is not open for anytime use, however, I am happy to have you join me if you see me out there or if you want to use it, just ask. There is a grill you can use for cooking outside. Just ask. I do have a modern washer/dryer on the premises, in my "dungeon basement" so if you promise not to judge me by my basement, I am happy to allow you to use the washer/dryer if it is available. I typically cannot accommodate last minute requests as I use them to sanitize all the linens/towels from turning over the apartments and of course for my personal use. If you cannot wait and need to do your laundry, there is a laundry mat at 127 Grove Street, Montclair--right down the street really called Grove Laundry. They also have a drop off/pick-up service that you can choose to use that is not very expensive. If you want to chat, or need advice, I am happy to do so or help as needed. From time to time, I have found it is quite enjoyable to get to know guests if the occasion arises. Typically, we are all so busy so it is a special treat when it happens. I also love making recommendations about local eateries for your enjoyment and many places deliver in case you want to kick back and relax. Montclair is a pretty cool town where I have been blessed to live since 1997. It is close to New York City and about an hour to the beach. There are over 200 restaurants, a theatre, museum, and many things to do. There is a farmer's market right down the street on Saturdays and many things are in walking distance. There is always something going on in the community. Many things are in walking distance. The Walnut Street train station to NYC is down the street in a 10-15 minute walk. You can be in Midtown Manhattan in under 30 minutes. The bus is 700 steps (DeCamp Bus Line) and picks up at Park St and Walnut St. Of course Uber and Lyft are readily available. If you would like groceries in advance, I can help with that. You can place an order online and we can coordinate the delivery. Also, please let me know what you like in morning coffee/tea (milk, cream) and if you like juice. Also, if you like some beer/wine, just let me know what kind.
