The space This sunny 1 bedroom is located in downtown Boston. Since Boston is a "walking-city" you're less than a 20m walk away from the Boston Common, North End, South End, Copley Square, and Newbury St. Top universities Harvard, MIT, Boston U, and Northeastern are all easily accessible via T. You're a 15 minute cab ride to Logan Airport, (depending on traffic!!!) Guest Access All of our units have self-check-in with lockboxes and/or key pads. You'll receive access information the day of your check-in. Guest access You'll be able to access the entire apartment, and will not be sharing any spaces. Other things to note This apartment is located on the 3rd floor of a 100 year old Boston Apartment Building. It has a very old elevator which may not carry all of your luggage in one trip. Please note the elevator has up to date inspections, and although it is slow it is dependable. We're a limited service operator, so you'll have the essentials, but sometimes we can not guarantee additional items like extra towels, etc. While we provide a fully stocked kitchen with pots, pans, cooking utensils etc. We do not provide salt, pepper, oil, tea or coffee. Please note that while the building does have an elevator, it is not consistently reliable and is occasionally out of service. For this reason, we have chosen not to list it as an amenity. We kindly advise guests to take this into consideration when making their reservation. Heating & Hot Water Information (Please Read): Our building operates on a centralized boiler system, which is common in many historic Boston properties. Because of this, heat and hot water are shared building-wide and may fluctuate slightly during periods of heavy usage. If the heat or hot water ever feels cooler than expected, it typically stabilizes within a short period of time. Running multiple high-demand appliances (dishwasher, washer/dryer, long showers) at the same time can temporarily affect performance, so spacing these out helps ensure consistent comfort for everyone in the building. We maintain temperatures in line with Boston housing standards and typical winter living conditions. For guests visiting from warmer climates, please note that indoor winter temperatures in Boston are generally kept at moderate, energy-efficient levels rather than tropical settings. If you need anything to feel more comfortable, we may be able to provide: Extra blankets Portable space heaters (upon request) Finally, Parking is expensive, but readily available within 2 blocks of this apartment.
