Located just past the town of Hawi in North Kohola, this newly renovated historic Plantation House dates back to the 1940's when the Union Mill company farmed the land for sugar cane. Accommodation The house contains 3 bedrooms (2 queen and two bunk beds) and two bathrooms and can accommodate up 6 guests. Grounds A ¾ acre lot full of fruit trees seasonally oranges, mangos, papaya, avocado, lime, passion fruit, lemons, cherries and bread fruit. Amenities A fully equipped modern kitchen, garden room, large lanai, laundry, TV and high speed internet are included. Nearby Saturday market at the Banyan Tree in Hawi is a must attend for local colour, produce and music. The famous Poululu Valley is only a 10 min drive away and offers breathtaking vistas. The whole property is yours to enjoy. While we don't live on island we have a local person who can respond to your needs 24/7 and are also personally available at any time Attractions A FREE access outdoor municipal pool is 5 min away. Walking distance to beaches, hikes, art galleries, groceries, restaurants, yoga, cultural centre, museums, library and cafe's with live music. Local colour is the key to this home. The privacy of a tropical garden provide the sites and sounds of old Hawaii. Walking distance to groceries, cafe's and art galleries but getting here from Kona or Hilo requires a car.
