The Hollyhock House is a 1910 Bungalow centrally located amidst the U of M campus, the river trail system, & the unique and charming Missoula downtown. An owner occupied vacation rental, it boasts large common areas & cosy bedrooms, fully furnished kitchen, laundry, & bath. An expansive front porch invites you to relax, put your feet up & let your worries go. The space An open plan living & dining area with overhead beams & beautiful windows that stream natural light. A well appointed kitchen adjoins a tidy laundry area & provides access to private parking. Bedrooms are cosy & private. The bathroom has a large porcelain tub with shower & amenities. It is my home & I'm most gratified to host guests in my absence. It is old & lovely, warm & welcoming, boasting a beautiful porch for quiet reflection or additional social gathering. It is a joy-filled "work-in-progress". I know you will love it & care for it as if it were your own. Because of allergies, I'm sadly unable to host your beloved pets. My neighbours are wonderful people & appreciate the quiet of the neighbourhood, as well as the wonderful energy of University youth & campus life. Even so, NO large gatherings or parties are allowed during your stay at the Hollyhock House. Guest access Your access as my guests is limited to the main floor, front porch & front lawn. Access across the back yard is for trash/recycling removal & guest parking. Other things to note Please be aware of house rules - the first of which is to leave your worries (& shoes) at the door... * Noted: There is an occupied basement apartment below. The tenants are very respectful of all the house rules as stated above for The Hollyhock House. The apartment is accessed from the alley and back yard. You'd not know they were there unless you are gazing out the kitchen window and they happen to be passing by. Registration details Exempt
