Home Away from Home in Northampton

Enjoy this two floor home in a lovely two family house. It’s perfect for a family and just a short walk to downtown Northampton and Smith College. Three bedrooms upstairs, two with queen beds, one twin, one bathroom. Luxurious bedding. Infant and child ready! A child of any age is considered a guest in this Airbnb. You'll have a well equipped kitchen and access to the shared front porch. Air conditioning in bedrooms. The space This wonderful space has recently been renovated and furnished as an Airbnb made to feel like home. New mattresses, wonderful linens and pillows, furnishings and everything you might need in the kitchen. Air conditioning in the bedrooms (mini splits) for comfort in the warm months and a gas fire in the fireplace makes the living room extra cozy in cooler weather! I live on the other side of the house and am happy to be available for whatever you may need - yet, you have the privacy of your own space. If you are traveling with a baby or child I have a wonderful crib, high chair, gates and other essentials, books and games to make your stay easy, fun and safe. Guest access You'll have access to the shared comfortable front porch. The backyard is reserved for the owners use. I offer complementary EV charging. Make arrangements with me to charge your car! Check-in time is between 2 and 8 pm. I’ll meet you with the key and to show you around. Please plan accordingly and let me know what time you’ll be arriving. Thanks! Other things to note This is a two family house and sometimes you may hear household noises from the other side. The kitchens are connected by a locked door but sound does especially travel between the kitchens. I deeply respect your privacy but may hear you if we are each in the kitchen. Please be mindful and respectful of the fact that this is a two family home. The front porch is shared. Check in is between 2 and 8 pm ONLY. Please plan accordingly. I cannot accommodate late arrivals. On street parking only, right hand side of the street. Usually there’s one spot right across from or near the house but on holidays and weekends you may need to go down the street to find a spot. If you have more than one car please be aware that parking is very limited on this street. If you have an EV, make arrangements with me in advance for complimentary charging! Trash pick up is Monday morning. If you forget something it will be donated after one week. Put your recycling, compost and trash bags on the porch Sunday evening and I’ll take care of it! Thanks! I have a sweet dog who lives with me on the other side of the house. Please don’t bring a dog or any animal into the home. Smoking is permitted outside.
