Beautiful Lakefront Getaway on Mashpee Pond

Lovely lake house on the shore of the Cape's largest fresh water pond! Beautiful post-and-beam, open floor design. Enjoy the lake from two large decks just feet from the water or from a private dock with canoe and kayaks. And for the kids, there's a 100 foot zip line! Four bedrooms, each with a private bath, plus new loft space with pullout couch. Families preferred. Just a few miles to shopping at Mashpee Commons and a few more to world-class beaches in all directions. But why leave the house? The space It's the best of both worlds -- in the woods and on the lake. Master bedroom has a double bed, private bathroom and features open-beamed cathedral ceilings with a loft space and a private deck among the trees overlooking the lake. Across a walkway overlooking the dining room is the second bedroom with two twin beds and a private bath. The third bedroom is a cute den on the first floor with new pullout couch and private bath. And the fourth bedroom is in the basement, also with its own private bath. There is also a new loft space up a spiral staircase from the living room. This space has a pullout coach, TV, and two beanbag chairs that convert into floor mattresses. The living room has a piano and a pullout coach. There is also a futon couch in the basement common room. The lake is perfect for swimming and boating from our private dock. Two canoes, two one-person kayaks, one two-person kayak, paddleboard, floats and life preservers are provided. Hiking trails and beach at Lowell-Holly conservation area or Attaquin Park are a short paddle across the lake or short drive around it. There's also a small private sandy beach on the lake about 100 yards south of our property that we share with the other homes on our street. It's almost always empty. Or you can head down to the South Cape Beach about 15 minutes away or many other beaches in any direction.
