The Blacktail bunk room, is a clean, well lit private room. A full room with two custom built twin bunks. A Total of 4 twin beds. There is a shared (but private) half bathroom down the hall. In addition to a shared shower room, and small shared work space/office. There is a shared kitchen room available 24/7 which includes a small fridge, microwave and coffee maker. Glacier Perks is our favorite local breakfast and lunch spot, which is just 3 mins driving distance next to the beautiful public park/lake access. Shared spaces through out the Hostel to include, kitchenette, shower room, bathroom and office. The main lobby doors will be open connecting to the yoga studio during daytime hours only. The yoga studio can be accessed during public class times. Please note the bathroom is only a half bath, the showers are located across the hall and have separate private stalls. We are available by phone to answer any questions you may have. We will also be there for most of the day. The Hostel is located just off the highway 93, equal distance between Lakeside and Somers, MT. A panoramic view of the swan mountains and Flathead lake from the front, and quiet forested setting to the back of the building. Parking is available on site, there are no public transportation services in the immediate area, though there are some local ride services. To include limited Lyft and Uber drivers in the area. Glacier National Park is 45 min to 1 Hour drive from the hostel. Blacktail Mountain Ski Area is about 20 Min up the Mountain from Lakeside, MT. Whitefish Mountain is appx 40 Min drive to the base of Big Mountain. Whitefish is appx 30 Min drive. Kalispell is North appx 15-20 min drive, including FCA Glacier International Airport. Missoula is to the South appx 2 hours. Please understand that as the hostel has a shared common space all guest must observe quiet times, and all house rules. The hostel is not suitable for children or occupancy over the designated and stated amount.
