The Henhouse Retreat- Hot tub, fire pit

The Henhouse Retreat is a beautifully restored 2 bedroom home converted from an original henhouse on our property. With breathtaking country views out every window you are sure to find this country retreat relaxing and enjoyable with many things to do close by like fishing, hiking, and a bike trail. Cute little towns to explore or cuddle up with a book & enjoy relaxation that comes with a deep breath in the country. Come as a family, some couples, or a little getaway, this home sleeps 7. The space 2 bedrooms, full bathroom, hot tub, washer & dryer, kitchen with microwave, oven, stove, coffee maker, and fridge. We provide kitchen utensils for your personal use along with a propane grill and fire pit (bring firewood) for roasting marshmallows. We provide a few necessities to get you started. We are a semi working farm and have young children you may see around the property. We will continue to work during the day but no one works past dark so you can rest assured you will have a quiet and peaceful night sleep. There are NO PETS allowed, no outside shoes in the house, NO open flames or candles, and WE DO NOT ALLOW SMOKING OR USE OF ANY SUBSTANCE. This is the country and dirt and bugs are a thing so just be aware, you get the full experience:-) If anything arises during your stay, we will do our best to accommodate ASAP and hope you find our piece of country living as relaxing and breathtaking as we do. Guest access You have your private driveway on the north side of the property with parking by the home and tons of space to roam as well. There is TONS of mint in the garden for summer mojitos around the fire (bring your own firewood). Explore the property at your discretion but please do not climb on any of the rusty things, jump on the trampoline, get in with the animals (touching the electric fence will HURT!) My kids sell non GMO, free range eggs for $5/doz if you are wanting something for breakfast right here from the farm. We can also send you home with eggs as well! Other things to note If you are wanting either chicken or duck eggs for your stay or to take home with you, just let us know and we can provide those for you. They are free range, non GMO eggs my kids sell for $5/doz chicken and $6/doz ducks upon availability PLEASE NOTE: You must be 23 years old to book the Henhouse Retreat. After you request your stay, you’ll receive a notification to complete our Rental Agreement, which simply outlines the terms of your stay at the Flourish House of Waco. The agreement is completed digitally and helps us protect both our home and you during your stay. We ask that it be signed within 48 hours of booking to secure your reservation and not risk the cancellation of your reservation.
