Sweet Rest in a Clean Home by the River

As of September 2026, Airbnb will be withdrawing 15.5% from me in fees. This fee will be withdrawn from the total of my room charges including my cleaning fees. Why should I have to pay Airbnb for the cleaning work I do? I do not agree with this, it is unfair, but they are not giving us a choice. Therefore I have had to raise prices to compensate. I am sorry. Now, onto my actual listing, This room in my home has 3 windows, is airy and light, crisply clean with a comfortable queen-sized bed. The space Our home is an open place, a sanctuary, crisp, clean, simple, fragrance-free and comfortable. Your room with three windows is airy and light, about 120sq. ft. with THREE windows. Walls and windows have rounded corners giving a southwestern feel, friendly and relaxing. Southern exposures reveal views of "green". At the river's edge there is a bench for relaxing. I sometimes rent out other bedrooms also, so the house can, at times, have a shared feel. My home is on a fairly quiet street though you'll hear some cars passing. It's a real bed, and is queen-sized. Guest access The main floor is shared as well as the very clean 1.5 bathrooms. We have a second and sometimes a third room that we also offer on Airbnb. There is wifi, throughout the house, so you may set yourself up in the living room, or in your room. The cold water is filtered in the basement, so you can access fresh water from any tap in the house. We request fragrance-free cosmetics-no perfume! If you need, you are welcome to use the products available in the bathrooms. In season, it's great to take a dip in the river behind the house. During your stay Hi, I live in my house, often am here, will let you know when I will not be. I am happy to help with orientation and suggestions re. entertainment, restaurants, sightseeing, hiking, biking...etc., to chat, or to give you space, whichever is more comfortable for you... Other things to note You are welcome to use the kitchen, there will be space for you to store food in the refrigerator. I’m not allergic, but am VERY sensitive to odors, so there is a strong fan in the kitchen which should always be used when cooking. I don’t allow perfumes, incense, or cosmetic products, shampoos, etc. with fragrance. There are products in the bathrooms you may use. Thank You!!
