Other things to note Missoula, just 50 miles away, is known for its great music festivals and home of the Missoula Paddleheads a semi-pro baseball team along with the University of Montana. Quinn's (exceptional dining) and Symes Hot Springs (weekend music) approx. 45 minutes away. Get driving directions online. Don't forget to check out Flathead Lake (30 minutes) the largest fresh water lake west of the Mississippi. Various hiking trails to enjoy for the beginner or hard core and everyone in between.
