We are located on the royal coconut coast. The space Our townhouse has a fully equipped modern kitchen, 1/2 bathroom, living room and lanai with dining table on the first floor. There is a full size sleeper couch in the living room. Upstairs there are two bedrooms ( with a queen bed in the master and a full bed in the guest bedroom) and a bathroom with shower. The master bedroom has ocean views and opens to a large lanai that has comfortable chaises to enjoy the breath taking views. There is no one above or below you and we only have one common wall. All rooms have ceiling fans. Kappa Sands is an intimate beachfront boutique resort with only 24 individually owed residences. It is built on the site of a former Shinto Temple and the resorts architecture is in the Shinto Style. Kapaa Sands is the closest resort to the beach in all of Kauai. There is free 24/7 high speed wifi and free parking. There is no resort fee. Taxes are included in your nightly rate. You wont have to walk a long distance or climb flights of stairs to get to our unit from your car. Our front door is on the ground floor and parking is close by. We provide our guests with high quality sheets, towels and bath products. Our appliances are all modern and our home is clean and light. With windows on three sides you can enjoy the famous trade winds. We are located across the street from the Kinipopo shopping center where the locals eat. There is a bakery, a great gastro pub, a gourmet Japanese restaurant and a Korean barbeque located in the center. There is an excellent Pizza restaurant and gourmet healthy restaurant across the street and Foodland and Safeway are less then a mile away. You can walk north to the recently remodeled Coconut Market Place. There is a market, lots of good restaurants and shops. Right before the Coconut Market Place is the Lava Lava Beach Club. Located right on the sand they serve good food and strong drinks. They show sports events and they have local nightly live entertainment. Guest access Kappa Sands is a tropical paradise that is located close to everything you would want or need. The famous Kauai ocean front bike path is steps from our front door. The Wailua river where you can kayak, paddle board and visit Fern Grotto is down the street. Bike rentals are available nearby. Hiking and mountain bike riding are just up the street. Shopping is close by in beautiful old town Kapaa. You can walk to lots of restaurants, shops and places of interest from Kappa Sands. Other things to note We are the closet resort to the beach in all of Kauai. Our beach is intimate, shaded and generally a great place to swim and enjoy all the beach activities.
