Digital security, safe community. Pet fee returnable on checkout day if no pet damage. :) The space 1928 home & gardens. The house is almost 100 years old and a work-in-progress. Expect clean, cozy, safe. Please don't expect pristine. Most of the house and guest rooms have a traditional bnb look and feel. The 2nd floor East Suite is the closest we offer to a minimalist space, if that's your preferred environment. The house is designed for a wide array of short- and long-term guest needs. It's also still our home base, and we often use it between guests. We love how it's decorated and arranged. Major house systems have been renovated, but it does not have central air. Window units bed, living and dining rooms. Fans for kitchen and bathrooms. Much peace and eye candy to be found in herb, veggie and cutting gardens (in season) where there are several nice places to relax near a fire or candles pit. Our small backyard chickens flock are sweet little citizens and fun companions. Guest access 1st floor kitchen and snacks nook. 2nd floor full shared guest bathroom. 2nd floor bedroom. Gardens and sitting areas available for all guests to enjoy outside. During your stay I do keep a close eye on my Airbnb messaging app, and I work hard to ensure all guests are effectively/efficiently supported all along the way from booking through departure. I enjoy socializing with my guests when I can, but I do need to keep a low profile most days in order to attend to family/pet care, job-related tasks and attending to the house/yards. Other things to note Standard check-in is 3pm or later. Standard check out is listed as 9am, due to my work schedule. I may have some flexibility during your stay dates. Let's discuss if these times are problematic for you. I like to shoot for win-win! I have internet but no TV cable. Each rental does have its own TV/DVD. Lots of DVDs and books to share. I also recommend reviewing my online guidebooks, as these point guests towards some favorite places to see, things to do, and favorite area restaurants.
