Nobody likes rules, but we need a few just to set expectations. - First and foremost, please respect Hawaiian custom and do not wear shoes inside the house. You will be so much more comfortable. -Do not remove items from our condo to another place. -Do not remove items from the furnace closet that are not meant for guests to use. - Keep the Aloha spirit of the neighborhood and be kind to fellow residents. Our home is a kid friendly household. If you do bring your kids, please tidy up after your kids. We have four children, so we know how much work it is to keep up after them. - Please do not put that burden on our house cleaners. You do pay a cleaning fee, but we ask that you leave the house in a reasonable shape. - Our home is in a quiet family oriented resort complex. This is NOT a place for college kids to spend time partying away. The sounds of lively young children are always welcomed by the complex, but loud raucous parties are not. - We have a zero tolerance policy for drug abuse and alcohol abuse, a.k.a. partying and excessive drinking. Any indication that this is taking place will lead to an immediate eviction. This is also a non-smoking household. We ask that you treat our home with care and respect. - If you break or damage something, please let us know right away. We understand wear and tear and accident. - Please park in the parking lot and avoid parking on the street. - We would love to dress up and improve the look of our lanai and vegetation much more than how it is now, but we're not allow to as this is how Planation Hale Suites set up the entire complex. -We continue to request our AOAO and maintenance crew to improve the vegetation in front and around our lanai and windows to make it more appealing. We wish things are getting done in a faster pace than it is. Guests have access to the entire condo and its lanai and all common facilities, pools, etc that belongs to Planatation Hale Suites Please text or call me or Sheryl Knox if you have any question or need assistance during your stay Plantation Hale Suites is neighboring with Coconut Marketplace, Courtyard by Marriott, Longs Drugs, and many restaurants. There are two pathways to the ocean. From K building, guests should take the pathway near Marriott and Longs and it's a 3 minutes stroll to the beach. Foodland, Safeway, Ross, and many other restaurants is 0.6 mile away north from K building. The traffic on Kuhio Hwy/Hwy56 can be busy at time. Speed limit in Kapaa town is 35MPH and everyone yields pedestrians. There's public transportation, but the easiest way to get around is to rent a car from the airport. We like Costco Travel as it's very easy to rent and cancel without fee. - Please keep the lanai screen and/or slide door and the front door close to keep bugs out. - Please do not leave any food/fruits out as it will attract ants and other unwanted pest. Don't be alarmed if you see bugs and geckos as they're native to this tropical paradise.
