Within a few minutes drive you can visit the Kilauea Lighthouse & Wildlife Preserve, exceptional snorkeling at Tunnels Beach and Ke'e Beach with it's breathtaking view of the Na Pali Coast, explore the expansive stretches of Lumahai Beach, Hanalei Bay Beach, Secret Beach and Rock Quarry Beach. Close by (walkable) is the Princeville market for groceries, shopping and dining, and the quaint Hanalei town with its extensive collection of eclectic shopping and dining just a few minutes down the road. Please note, as part of our Keep Kauai Green initiative to encourage thoughtful electricity consumption we deduct the actual cost of the electricity consumed, as read from the e-meter. This cost is deducted from the deposit after the visit. The cost typically runs between $5 and $15 per day depending mainly on hot water, laundry, and air conditioning used during your visit. To get you through the first day or two we will have at least a couple of rolls of toilet paper, a roll of paper towels, liquid hand and dish soap, a couple dishwasher tablets, and enough laundry detergent to wash a load or two of laundry. For stays longer than a couple of days you will likely need to purchase more of these supplies on island or bring from home. You will also want to bring your own favorite shampoo and conditioner.
