Our beach house is right in the heart of Kihei. Amazing beaches for snorkeling, bodyboarding, SUP, or relaxing. Some of the most amazing sunsets have been seen right from Papaouli's lanai. The Papaouli townhome is perfect for families, couples, first-timers to Maui, or if you're celebrating your 1st or 25th wedding anniversary. Our home is a duplex, somewhat secluded. You can walk right out the door 50 steps to the ocean. You can see the West Maui Mountains (Amazing Sunsets), Molokini crater, and other Islands. The ocean is great for swimming, snorkeling, bodyboarding, kayaking, or canoeing. There are more places for snorkeling and seeing awesome fish underwater within a few miles. Our home has a large landscaped lawn and a shared BBQ grill. The kitchen is fully equipped with a washer/dryer, dishwasher, stove, microwave and all the kitchen gadgets like home. The Master suite is located on the 3rd level with a large Jacuzzi tub, queen size bed, and private lanai. On the 1st level, we have a full-size bath walk-in shower, two twin beds which can be made into a king bed upon request. On the 2nd level, there is a dining area and a sauna off the kitchen with a full-size bath walk-in shower. In the living room, there is queen Hawaiian futon, (TV/DVD player) WiFi throughout the home. Papaouli and his family have had this place for decades. They have shared lots of Aloha time together - "you can still feel the vibes". There is no a/c needed with our local daily trade winds to keep you cool. We have ceiling fans in each room, portable fans in both bedrooms. Locking the main entry screen doors allowing the cool ocean breeze in makes for a wonderful nights sleep. Maui County Occupancy tax of 17.416% is a separate charge. The large spacious manicured lawn past the BBQ is state land. You'll often see folks passing by or enjoying the Sunset on the lawn. December through April is great time for Whale watching right from our lanai! Uber is available just notify the property manger ahead of time. Public bus stops are near by, Times supermarket is less then two blocks, fast foods/health food, and other shops with in a few blocks or a short walking distance. Since you are in the heart of Kihei I would suggest getting a car unless your coming to really relax. We've provided an umbrella for you to use while your using the lanai. Please do not leave the umbrella unattended or in the open position while your away. Our trade winds come up suddenly and cause the umbrella to topple over breaking the lanai sliding doors. Any damages will be the responsibility of the guest(s). We offer personal shopping, available upon request. Food, flowers even folks with special dietary needs, Anniversary, Birthday or a special occasion. A licensed massage therapist can be scheduled and come right to the beach house for a private massage. Please schedule in advance. Check out time is 10am Late check out: Late check outs after 10 am must be requested upon reservation. Late check out fees as follows: Before 12pm free 12pm--8pm half days rental No cleaning is required. Please take out the trash/recycle daily. An extra fee will be charged for any white towels that are heavily soiled. Please do not use the white bath towels for spills on the floors, or outside. We have provided various spray cleaners and rags if you need them.
