The space Papaouli Beach House is an ideal getaway for families, couples, and those experiencing Maui for the first time, whether you're marking a special occasion like a 1st or 25th wedding anniversary. This duplex offers a somewhat secluded atmosphere, just 50 steps from the ocean. You'll be treated to stunning views of the West Maui Mountains, Molokini Crater, and other nearby islands, especially during those incredible sunsets. There are so many activies right in front of the home, swimming, snorkeling, bodyboarding, kayaking, and canoeing. Or if you're keen on snorkeling, some of the most fantastic snorkeling spots with vibrant marine life are just a few minutes South. Our property features a spacious landscaped lawn and a shared BBQ grill, perfect for enjoying the outdoors and those perfect Maui Sunsets. Our kitchen is fully equipped with everything you need, including a washer/dryer, dishwasher, stove, microwave, and various kitchen gadgets to make your stay comfortable. You will be Welcomed with a Beautiful Basket full of local goodies. Your accommodations include a Master suite on the 3rd level, complete with a large Jacuzzi tub, a queen-size bed, and a private lanai. The 1st level boasts a full-size bathroom with a walk-in shower and two twin beds that can be converted into a king bed upon request. On the 2nd level, you’ll find a dining area, full kitchen, a sauna, and full-size bathroom featuring a walk-in shower. The living room is cozy, furnished with a queen Hawaiian futon, and equipped with a TV/DVD player and Wi-Fi throughout the home. With the refreshing local trade winds, air conditioning is unnecessary. NO AIR CONDITIONING. Each room is fitted with ceiling fans, and portable fans are available in the bedrooms for your comfort. Simply locking the main entry screen doors allows the cool ocean breeze to flow in, ensuring a restful night's sleep. Maui County Occupancy tax of 18.712% will be collected separately before your stay. Airbnb does not currently include local taxes in our area. Check-out time is set for 10 AM. If you need a late check-out, please request it when you make your reservation. We offer the following late check-out fees: - Before noon: Free - From noon to 8 PM: Half a day’s rental fee No cleaning is required from you, but we kindly ask that you take out the trash and recyclables daily to keep the space tidy. Please be aware that an extra fee will apply for any heavily soiled white towels. We ask you not to use these towels for spills on the floors or outside.
