However, I am a very hands-on owner that lives in town and is never far away unless on vacation myself! The neighborhood is full of families, young professionals, and college students. The Flat is right next to a large green space the neighborhood calls the Freetown park. You are within walking distance (0.2 miles) of Borden's Ice Cream, The Bulldog (bar), Tammy's grocery (should you need to pick up any small items) and Blue Moon Saloon. Cross over into downtown and you can go to live music at Artmosphere, the delicious Spoonbill Restaurant, or the Rock N' Bowl a New Orleans' live music and bowling venue! There’s so much more downtown including central pizza, tsunami (sushi), Wing Fingers and the Wurst Biergarten! You can walk to the University of Louisiana (Ragin Cajuns) and downtown VERY easily. Uber is the best way to go beyond that. You are within 5-10 minutes just about everything. The Primary bedroom features a kitchenette with a pull-out microwave, mini fridge, quartz countertops, and floating shelves! Also, a private deck and French door entrance.
