The teardrop is slightly larger than the full-size mattress that's inside it and there is an ample amount of closet space to hold a few days' worth of items. Please note: this camper is not designed for standing up or stretching out. Private lake access is just a short stroll away ( ~3-minute walk), while food and entertainment abound around the area! 🌙 The land is raw (undeveloped). What you are paying for is a cozy, safe place to rest, a porta-John (no shower), and PRIVATE LAKE ACCESS. :) If you need an air conditioner or real bathrooms, please stay in one of our other cabins that have these amenities. 🏖️ Public access to Flathead Lake is limited outside of state parks, making our private beach a rare and special perk. We encourage you to consider this when booking your stay with us. 🚽 Read below for the bathroom setup. ───────── WHERE IT IS 👀 Located next to Flathead Lake Resort, a property that was built in the 1940s and is part of a calm lakeside community in Woods Bay (Bigfork, Montana). We are located 45 minutes south of GLACIER NATIONAL PARK. Be sure to view the "Where you’ll be" section located UNDER the MAP on this listing. ───────── ELECTRICITY ⚡️ There is no electricity, but we do provide lanterns and have a public extension cord for charging small electronics. ───────── ACCESS 🚗 🛻 Located along Highway 35, our location offers quick and easy access to all the best spots in the area. With this convenience, you may notice some road activity from early morning (~6 AM) through the early evening—but rest assured, nights are peaceful for a good night's sleep! All guests get access to our private community beach on Flathead Lake. ───────── BEDROOM 🛏️ You'll have a comfy mattress somewhere between a full and queen in size. Sitting room only (not tall enough to stand). A small closet provides storage space. Light linens are provided. 🥶 **For colder temperatures, please bring additional blankets of your own, or you may request extra for an additional $5 charge. ───────── THE BATHROOM 🚿 🧼 A porta-John is provided on site. It is cleaned fresh weekly by the pros. ───────── (NO) SHOWER: 🚫 🚿 •••• Portable showers are not allowed (per county regulations) •••• Please respect the lake. Swimming is allowed. If you book with us and decide this is not the setup for you, we trust our review will not be degraded over this matter. 👌 Guest access ───────── OUTDOORS, BEACH, AND WATER SPORTS RENTALS 🏄‍♀️ 🛶 All guests enjoy shared access to picnic tables, a propane grill, a fire pit, and water rentals (SUPs, kayaks, and a canoe). A private neighborhood beach on Flathead Lake is just a ~3-minute walk away—a rare chance to experience the lake’s pristine waters. ✨ A fire pit and charcoal grill are available at the beach (unless a fire ban is in place). ───────── OUR NEIGHBORHOOD & LOCATION We LOVE our neighborhood! Our quaint, quirky community dates back to the 1940s. It’s not fancy, but it’s fun! In our 70-year-old neighborhood, expect to see vintage cars, boats, tractors, and friendly neighborhood animals. The area is very safe. We're located just off Highway 35, a beautiful scenic route along Flathead Lake’s east shore. While you may notice some road noise during the day, that’s the perfect time to be out exploring, hiking, or enjoying the lake!
