Creole cottage close to Magazine and Tchoupitoulas street Walking distance to many shops,restaurants and galleries. Queen-size bed,open kitchen, hot tub, courtyard, dining room, lounge. This is an extremely safe neighborhood You have your own private room. The space Is shared with myself and other guests if other rooms are occupied. The bathroom is shared with other guests. There are two formal living rooms. Smart TV inside room You are welcome to lounge in either. 17str-08947 The space This charmer is a 100 year old newly refurbished creole cottage located in the uptown upper garden district of New Orleans. Plenty of free off street parking available . Please bring a swimsuit so you can enjoy the hot tub and lovely courtyard during your stay. Only registered guests allowed .No parties or events allowed. Please make this your home away from home, but be respectful of other guests and our wonderful neighbors. Keep noise level down after 11 pm. The location is very central and just a quick 10 minutes to the French Quarter ,1 mile from Audubon park and Zoo. Approximately $10 uber ride. Getting around Public transportation is also walking distance from the house if you choose to not rent a car while you are visiting. I grew up with Creole,Asian, African and Indian home-cooked dishes. I am also a sommelier and really enjoy white burgundies, Pinot Noirs, and Washington state red wines. Please inquire about my availability to create a special menu during your stay, wine tasting, or a cooking class using house-grown herbs, peppers, local ingredients, & local seafood. I have a cookbook called "Tropical Latitude". It's about cooking with the tropics from Africa to Brazil, Caribbean, Southeast Asia, New Orleans and quite a few recipes from Mauritius.
