Take advantage of all the spectacular wonders of the North Shore, which are all within minutes of this prime location. This one bedroom, upstairs unit (no one above your head) is a bungalow-style condo. Newly remodeled and clean. The condo has nearly every amenity, featuring a queen sized bed, private full bathroom, lounge area, kitchenette, dining area, and private patio with a view of the green belt area (trees/golf course). The apartment is further equipped with a small load washer dryer, large screen TV with Roku streaming channels (News, Netflix etc) and free Wifi also included. The kitchenette has a counter dedicated for cooking, complete with sink, 2 burner cook top and cupboard space. The kitchenette also has a small refrigerator, toaster oven, microwave, blender, coffee pot and basic cooking cooking supplies, (pots/pans/ plates, silverware, etc). A tastful 4 chair dining area is adjacent looking out over the private patio. The apartment has a queen sized bed separated from the lounge and dining area with a tastful wall divider. The TV is stored inside the large cabinet, and can be extended and swiveled to be viewed from the lounge area, or bed, then tucked away out of sight when not in use. Private bathroom attached, with towels, and ameneties. Tastefully designed, this upper story, bright and airy, 1 bedroom condo has a balcony where you can relax in privacy looking out over the lush Java plum trees lining the pathway to Anini Beach right off your balcony (there is a peek of mountain view as well). This charming condo borders a beautiful golf course and offers privacy from other units. You can also take a dip in the pool which is just steps from the front door! With a 10 minute walk you can access the primary grocery store on the North Shore, multiple cafés, restaurants, shops, post office, yoga studios, golf courses, banks and ATM’s as well as the local bus line. If you go the other direction, a 15 min walk down the path in front of the condo will lead you to Anini Beach, with excellent snorkeling and swimming. World famous Hanalei Bay is only 5 min. away by car. (Road closures currently in effect - check for schedule). Hanalei is a great place to walk the beach, swim, boogie board or enjoy surfing from beginner to advanced abilities. Princeville is a upscale planned residential and vacation neighborhood on Kauai's North Shore. A park like atmosphere prevails with world class golf courses and walking trails winding throughout. Spectacular sea views and water falls all within easy walking distance of shopping center and restaurants. Princeville is an amazingly convenient and beautiful community on the North Shore. We absolutely love it and here's why: From our location it is easy to walk to the beach or the grocery store and the views in either direction are spectacular, with ocean one direction and mountains and waterfalls the other! In fact there is a network of fantastic walking and running trails all over Princeville, making it likely the safest and easiest of locations of the island to walk or take a run. Another bonus is that all the nearby golf courses are open for pedestrian exploration after 5pm, which is excellent for sunset strolls. The coastline below Princeville provides some of the most pristine, clear water due to the lack of rivers and fresh water runoff. Because of these, Princeville has some amazing exploring to enjoy below its bluffs (surf conditions permitting - check conditions before heading to any beach in Hawaii). The clear water provides some of the very best turtle viewing, snorkeling, pristine coves and nooks and cranny gems on the North Shore. Some of these places are hard to find, so ask us and we will be happy to guide you along with the customized map we provide in the condo. We've fallen in love with Princeville and know you will too! **As an added note, Kauai is not lack of its fair share of rainfall and storms. It is no secret that Kauai, with all of its beauty can also be temperamental, so it is good to be prepared and Princeville is one of the best places to stay on the North Shore in the event of a storm. Princeville is high and dry, safe from Tsunami and floods and is optimally located near to food shopping and emergency services. Roads leading to and from Princeville rarely get affected in storms so getting to and from the airport will not be a problem even when Kauai is flexing her muscles. In general we recommend renting a vehicle while on Kauai as it provides most visitors with the island access and freedom they prefer. However, for those who enjoy to walk and for anyone who would prefer not to drive there is plenty to see and do on foot from the Hale Humu. There is also the option of public transit with a bus stop only 5-10 minutes walk from the condo. Unfortunately, Kauai is still a bit behind the times with its public transportation and the bus does not cover the entire island. The furthest the bus goes on the North Shore is to Hanalei town. **For Haena access and Ke'e beach, Please look into taking take the Kaua’i North Shore Shuttle. Search Go Haena online for shuttle reservations.** **In consideration of the residents in the condo complex we do not accept children below the age of 7 years old** **We ask our guests to complete our rental agreement contract after booking (we send it as an attachment via email). This contract is something that has proven useful in providing us with more complete contact details and guest information, but also helps further convey important information to our guests such as check in/out times and our House Rules.
