*Fire update: Luckily our condo and surrounding area was spared from the fires, we have power, water and internet like normal. While downtown Lahaina is not accessible, the beautiful beaches, snorkeling and Maui vibes are as strong as ever. West Maui is officially asking tourists to return starting on October 8th, please help support local Maui businesses - our economy and jobs are dependent on tourism and we would love to host you! The space We have upgraded our condo and taken great care to be your ideal home for your stay in Maui! Our guests will love the direct 3rd floor ocean views of the blue Pacific Ocean, Molokai and Lanai - imagine yourself relaxing on the patio, hearing the waves crash while enjoying the sunset and sea turtles swimming to the shore. We believe our 1 bed / 1 bath home (600+ sq. feet) is well suited for families of 4, couples wanting a quiet, romantic stay with honeymoon worthy views, a small group of friends or any other occasion to enjoy a Maui vacation. Key Reason to book our home - the views! While many condos have partial or ground views of the water and try to hide it in their listing photos, our home truly has unobstructed 3rd floor ocean views of your dreams! You may find yourself scheduling your day to be at home to relax on the balcony to watch the sunset, and while we can’t promise there will be sea turtles every day, from our experience you can regularly see them swimming nearby. Also, from January through April is prime whale watching season! You’ll have a front row seat from the balcony. Points to consider: • No A/C in bedroom: our building was not built with traditional air conditioning, and while we have a portable a/c unit in the living room we are not allowed to have one in the bedroom. For all but the hottest summer months a/c is not needed, as there is a cool trade wind flowing through the unit - with the added bonus of waking up to the sound of waves and the ocean. • 45 minute drive from Kahului airport: It is a bit of a drive to our home from the airport, as we are in a quieter and peaceful area of West Maui. In our opinion it is relaxing to be living away from the crowded tourist areas but still a 10 minute drive to downtown Lahaina. Other Amenities: For your convenience we have also provided beach chairs, umbrellas, boogie boards and ice chests for your use during your stay, as well as binoculars to more easily see the turtles. Right next to our property there is a quiet beach that is ideal for laying out in the sand. We have a keyless lock entry system and a SmartTV with all the major streaming services available for you to use your logins (Netflix, Amazon Prime, Hulu, Disney+, AirPlay).
