Our home is located 3.5 miles from Bellevue IA which sits along the Mississippi river and has some nice little cafe and dining options, a state park and beautiful views Our home was built in the early 1900s and recently remodeled and renovated. Central air, heat, new windows. Amongst large rolling hills. Surrounded by pastures timbers and farmland The space 4 private bedrooms upstairs with one shared shower toilet sink Down stairs(we reside) also has a 1/4 bath you may share. Kitchen and nice covered porch to enjoy a cup of coffee or a nightcap and conversation. If you'd like an evening bonfire let me know. Guest access We have horses which I'd be glad to show you. We ask that you do not go in with them with out me or "Perry" We have an outside dog(Levi) who loves attention & plays fetch. Paisley is in/out dog who is cautious but, too, loves to play fetch with Levi You can go for a hike in the nearby woods. I'll give you some directions so you won't cross into a neighbors property. Chickens Ducks(fresh eggs daily) & barn cats also roam the property During your stay We live here full time. We have our own master bedroom and bath on the main level. Another place to explore is Maqoketa Caves state park and afterwards grab supper at Bluff Lake!
