Although the listing states private room, this airbnb affords you with an entire private apartment with a private entrance. Our guests may enjoy all that our property has to offer including swimming, kayaking, horseshoes and basketball. Life preservers are provided and are required to be worn when using the kayaks. Beach chairs, umbrellas and coolers are available for your day at the beach. The property is centrally located on the lower cape. It is close to Nantucket Sound, Cape Cod Bay and the National Seashope Park and beaches. The Cape Cod Rail Trail bike path can be accessed 1 mile down the road. Harwich boasts many fine restaurants and is home to the Freedom Ferry which offers daily trips to the island of Nantucket. Sport fishing is also offered at Saquetucket Harbor. Parking is available in the private driveway where guests have a reserved space in front of the left garage door. Access to the private entrance will be provided prior to guest arrival. We also allow access to the garage for bike storage and access to coolers, umbrellas, life jackets etc. Although we live on the property, we are often out and about and you may not ever see us however, we are always available to answer any questions or to make recommendations. Cape Cod Bay and Nantucket Sound are a 10 minute drive away. The Cape Cod National Seashore Park and it’s magnificent ocean beaches is a 15 minute drive. Check out cape cod chamber.org Automobile is the best bet however, lyft and uber are available as well as local buses, ferries to Nantucket and Martha’s Vinyard and buses to and from Logan Airport and Boston.
