The Blue Barn is located on a 147 acre farm in southwest Bozeman about 20 minutes from historic, downtown Bozeman and 30 minutes from Big Sky town center. A beautiful and private location to make as your home-base to explore all the activities big sky country has to offer or a secluded spot to find peace and tranquility - scenic views included. The space The barn and attached guest house were built in 2012. The guest house can comfortably sleep a family of 4 - 2 to a bed. Kitchen comes fully equipped with up-to-date appliances and cooking/eating utensils. There is also a washer and dryer located in the bathroom. Guest access Feel free to hike around the 147 acre property. In the summer there's swimming in the pond; and in the winter there's skating, snowshoeing and x-skiing. Upstairs in the barn loft there is a basketball hoop. Please note that there will be times that the loft and/or main floor of the barn will be in use by your hosts for farming or prepping for events. There will never be events scheduled during your stay. Bring your hammock and string it up in the adjacent, aspen grove for a relaxing afternoon. In the spring you may find a litter of sweet kittens in the stable area of the barn. We're happy to share our farm-fresh eggs with you when available. Other things to note We are able to provide a private pasture if you are traveling with your horse/horses. There is one indoor, parking spot available in the barn.
