House has a front porch with "stoop," a double living room/den upfront, a roomy kitchen with dining/breakfast area and bar counter, a great master bedroom with queen bed, full bath completely renovated in 2024, and twin beds in the camelback loft for occasional guests of the occupant. Out back is a great deck and patio area, and the "Mardi Gras Room" with a half bath and washer/dryer. Plus off street parking for one car. It's just steps away from boutiques, coffee shops, great breakfast places, a Whole Foods, Walgreens, as well as fine dining, neighborhood restaurants and great po-boys. Great dining within a walk includes James Beard award winning chef, Alon Shaya's new restaurant, called "Saba,""Daisy Bistro;" and others along Magazine St. Plus there’s many more within 8 -10 minutes by car or 20 minutes via foot. Or, stay home to enjoy and relax out back under a giant live oak tree in the shady courtyard! Guest access Need extra space? The house has one bed room, a loft bedroom with two twin beds for occasional guests, and also a queen sleeper couch in the living room. For long term rentals , you have access to the "Mardi Gras Room" (a separate building in the courtyard) with a 1/2 bath and washer/dryer. It is literally across the street from Whole Foods, and a block from a Walgreens - everything you need. It is also close to several hospitals including Children's, Ochsner-Baptist and Touro. And did we mention the watering holes and neighborhood restaurants within 3-4 blocks?! Plus as off street parking if you have a car. A heads up - the stairs to the loft are a bit steep.
