Sitting on 21 acres of private land, the property is conveniently located for visitors attending events in Arlee and Missoula. Just five miles southeast of U.S. Hwy 93, our home is a perfect place to stop before continuing your journey north to Whitefish, Flathead Lake, and Glacier National Park. The space Available year-round, we are twenty-five miles north of Missoula, Montana. Our home sits on the historic Big Knife Ranch homestead at the base of the Rattlesnake Mountains. On twenty-one acres of privately owned land, our property offers rustic Montana beauty and relaxing serenity. Our home has plenty of space to gather for games and meals, indoors and out. Enjoy stargazing, roasting marshmallows over the firepit, and BBQ's in the backyard. Guest access Local attractions include horseback riding, nature walks, mountain biking, fly-fishing, u-pick organic farms, cross country skiing, downhill skiing, artists workshops, The Arlee Powwow, The Nkwusm-Salish Language Institute and The Garden of 1000 Buddhas. Other things to note We share the property with deer, wild turkey, and a rogue cat or two. Black bears, coyotes, bobcats, and mountain lions are in the area so always take precautions when going on walks. If additional space is needed, there is a charming apartment attached to the far side of the garage. It's the perfect space for teens, single parents with two children, or those who prefer to have a separate space away from the hubbub of the main house.
