Your perfect family retreat on the Outer Cape! Located in a quiet cottage colony with an almost entirely unpopulated bay beach right at the end of the road (a quick 4/10 mile walk). Our little piece of heaven can be yours to enjoy for a while. Our cottage was hand built back in the 50’s by a long standing family our area. It’s been updated to modern standards, but maintains its classic charm. Come see life as it was. Be here now. The space Although the cottage is ~600 sq. ft. it feels very open and roomy with the lofted ceilings and ample windows. The bedrooms are on opposite sides of the cottage, providing privacy if you want it, but also close enough to not require a monitor if you are bringing little ones. We are constantly updating the amenities and bohemian coastal decor, both inside and outside. We strive to be your perfect vacation destination. We are geared at families, offering all the little extras you need when traveling with littles (we have them and get it). Our home is fairly baby-proofed (you will have to keep an eye on table corners and such) and only green cleaned. Additionally, we’ve had people stay before or during a wedding. They’ve gotten engaged here. Celebrated a honeymoon here. Some of our guests come back; some stay friends for always. We aim to be that place where that magical moment happened. Sea Star is our home in our hearts, though we can’t be here always, which give you an opportunity to make it you magic place, too. Come be here. Be happy. Be in this special place. It will change you in ways you can’t know until you experience it. The outer cape is like no other place and we are in the heart of it. Guest access All spaces in and around the cottage including picnic table, hammock, patio and sun porch. There is a shared tennis/pickleball court, swing set, cornhole, open lawn space, lounge area and basketball hoop. Other things to note *****What we do and don’t provide***** I want to make sure all guests are aware that linens are not provided with this rental. You will find the beds upon your arrival with fresh waterproof mattress and pillow covers along with light quilts. There is a local company called The Furies that rents sheet and towel sets you could investigate if you don't want to pack the bulky stuff. We will go above and beyond for you in all other aspects. We have the kitchen stocked with basics such as olive oil and spices, a variety of sweeteners and tea. We provide all toilet paper, hand and dish soap. In addition, we supply everything you need extra for babies and toddlers such as special beds and a high chair. We have a small library of adult books. You’ll find lots of games, activities and sand toys for all ages to enjoy. ****Extra cleaning for you ***** We’ve always tried to keep it green and have found an amazing product called Zoono that physically kills all virus, bacteria and fungi for a month after application and is safe even on food contact surfaces. This is applied to all high contact surfaces, which still, of course, be wiped down with all purpose cleaner. While guests are not allowed pets per condo association policy, owners can have them. Our cat and dog spend time there in August. The house is deep cleaned after, but for those with severe allergies you may consider this.
