This is a quiet suburban home that is located about 35 minutes from Newark Airport, 25 minutes from Newark Penn Station, and an hour from New York Penn Station by car. We are also 15 minutes from historic downtown Morristown, Millburn, and Summit. Madison station is 3.6 miles away, and all trains head to New York Penn Station during the week days and weekends. We are less than 1 mile away from Novatis, and 2.6 miles from Morristown airport for guest who has a short term assignment in the area. The space Please note that you will be renting the basement in a single family home. Knowing that we have guests in our basement, changes are made to assure comfort during the mornings, evenings, and weekends. Although we don't have any pests, we post pest control inspection for the safety and peace of mind of our guests. For everyone's safety, police will be involved for any perceived domestic disturbance. To prevent/eliminate property damage due to drug use/smoking, we are advising that we hold the right to ask you to leave immediately. Payment for damages will be incurred by you, and the remaining charge for the stay will not be refunded. Drug/smoking/excess alcohol usage on the premise will not be tolerated for the safety of our home. Please make sure personal contents are in proper luggage or garment bags. To keep the place tidy we do not allow any contents in garbage bags and luggage on the furniture. We will provide and show the designated areas for storage. Lastly, please text questions daily, as we hope to expedite issues that may arise. Our walkout basement has been converted to a cosy place for you. It has a nice sitting area with a loveseat and a large leather chair and coffee table. We offer a full kitchen with gas stove, salt, pepper and oil, 4 sets of dishes, cutting board, dishwashing liquid, dish rack and sponge. We also offer a mini-fridge, microwave and a table set area with water kettle some simple essential of tea, cream and coffee. You will have your own private bathroom that we just renovated with clean and fresh white bath and hand towels. Bathroom will also have extra toilet paper, hair dryer, and curler underneath the sink. Approaching your spacious bedroom suite will be a sofa with coffee table and a queen-size bed. TV is Chromecast-enabled and is ready for you to cast your favorite shows. We have guest wifi access setup for you to connect anytime. Guest access Your own living room, bath room, 1 suite with a couch and a queen-sized bed, another bed room with a queen-sized bed and a full kitchen. During your stay Text to via air bnb app is best. Other things to note We are located about 0.6 mile from Trader Joe's and King and some usual Starbucks, Dunkin' Donuts and other restaurants - very convenient for you to grab a bite to eat. For shopping, for home and big format like Costco, HomeGoods, Sierra trading Post, it's less than 5 minutes drive. For brand name clothes, shoes, purses, jewelry and other fun things, Short Hills mall is about 8 miles away. In New Jersey, there is no tax on clothes so shop away. We have a very sweet resident female Soft-coated Wheaten Terrier "Tune" - Tune is 5 years old. She is hypoallergenic and is the happiest and friendliest doggy. Sometimes, Scout's Honor who is another wheaten will join us from Brooklyn when his Mom (my sister) is on a work assignment, Scout is also 5 and is very sweet. If you are outside, you may run into us when we are taking our furry family members for a walk.
