Picturesque Retreat for 2 (w/option for 2nd room)

Room TypeRoom type
Private room

This is our primary listing (of 2). The room is a large ensuite, w/ sitting area, including a work table. King bed, w/ 2 floor futons if needed. Decorated in Cottage Style, it is a charming, quiet, and peaceful space. We are NOT set up for extended stay guests, as guests do not have access to laundry or kitchen. We have, on occasion, accommodated longer stays, but please be aware that this is not ideal for guests who need to cook or launder. Ask about our 2nd queen bed room for family stay. You will enjoy this newly added guest suite of this lovely pasture and tree surrounded home nestled on 2.5 acres in Richland, WA. The room is very private and quiet in a seldom used area of the house with a separate entrance. Nice and clean and decorated in a lovely cottage style. Shower in attached bathroom. Room has a KING BED and will also accommodate 2 floor futons on request. Second guest room with queen bed, located next to this room, with separate bathroom also available, if needed to keep family or group members together See separate listing. Location is in close proximity to the LDS Columbia River Temple (1/4 mile), Columbia Center Mall (2 miles), Columbia River (2 Miles), with an ideal feeling of country close to city conveniences. Whether you are here for the Columbia Cup Boat Races and Allied Arts Show in July, a visit with family, business, wine tasting or just wanting to explore the area, you will find this a memorable stay. Couples or women only. No smoking inside or out. Well-behaved children may stay upon inquiry. Electric Hot Kettle. Fresh filtered water provided daily. Small refrigerator. Small microwave. Starbucks located 1/4 mile away. After greeting guests at the front door, and showing them the room, most guests prefer to come and go through the basement entrance. However, there is a gentle grassy slope up to the driveway from the daylight basement, and guests are always welcome to use the stairs and front door if they are more comfortable in doing so. There is a large sitting area outside the bedroom door where the breakfast table/coffee and tea service is located where guests may sit. Normally I prefer for guests to experience a quiet stay, but I enjoy meeting new people and I am happy to answer any of your questions. Many guests prefer to come and go through the downstairs entrance after the initial greeting through the front door. We live in a quiet, lovely neighborhood nestled at the base of a hill. There is a neighborhood park up the street and opportunities for walks are abundant. There is a public bus stop located about 1/4 mile down the street. This is not a hotel. This is our home. We would like to think that our guests have respect for our property as we would if we visited your home. This is especially true for "little" visitors. Parents, there is a large grassy area for playing, jumping and running.....outside.
