This is our primary listing (we have 2). The room is ensuite, and is large with a sitting area, including a work table. King bed with 2 floor futons if needed. Decorated in Cottage Style, it is a charming, quiet, and peaceful space. We are NOT set up for extended stay guests, as guests do not have access to laundry or kitchen. We have, on occasion, accommodated longer stays, but please be aware that this is not ideal for guests who need to cook or launder. You will enjoy this newly added guest suite of this lovely pasture and tree surrounded home nestled on 2.5 acres in Richland, WA. The room is very private and quiet in a seldom used area of the house with a separate entrance. Nice and clean and decorated in a lovely cottage style. Shower in attached bathroom. Starbucks located 1/4 mile away. After greeting guests at the front door, and showing them the room, most guests prefer to come and go through the basement entrance. However, there is a gentle grassy slope up to the driveway from the daylight basement, and guests are always welcome to use the stairs and front door if they are more comfortable in doing so. There is a large sitting area outside the bedroom door where the breakfast table/coffee and tea service is located where guests may sit. Normally I prefer for guests to experience a quiet stay, but I enjoy meeting new people and I am happy to answer any of your questions. Many guests prefer to come and go through the downstairs entrance after the initial greeting through the front door. We live in a quiet, lovely neighborhood nestled at the base of a hill. There is a neighborhood park up the street and opportunities for walks are abundant. There is a public bus stop located about 1/4 mile down the street. This is not a hotel. This is our home. We would like to think that our guests have respect for our property as we would if we visited your home. This is especially true for "little" visitors. Parents, there is a large grassy area for playing, jumping and running.....outside.
