Scituate is a beautiful seaside community on the South Shore. The rooms are in a separate, private part of my home including a private bath, tub shower. Entry is through the dining room which is not available for the use of Airbnb guests (and isn't used when guests are here.) I provide a selection of coffees, teas, sugar, honey and sweeteners , Keurig & regular drip coffee maker, hot water kettle, microwave & refrigerator. In the bathroom, soap, shampoo, conditioner & hair dryer are provided. Entire private guest suite. 2 rooms, plus private bath. One bedroom has a double bed and TV with Roku for streaming local Xfinity cable stations, Prime, Hulu, etc. The other room has a twin bed, small kitchen table and chairs, 2 coffee makers, hot water kettle, microwave, refridgerator, dishes, flatware, mugs, etc. Uber and Lyft services are limited in this area, it is best to have a car. The commuter rail station with trains to Boston is 3/4 mile away in North Scituate Village, an easy walk or $4 to park. I give my guests space and respect their privacy but am available when needed. I work locally so I am around and can be reached easily by text. I have lived in this town for 39 years and know the area pretty well. I would be happy to help with making plans, restaurants, good places to walk or ride a bike, directions, etc. Occasionally I am not available in person but will be reachable by text or phone. There are many nice restaurants in Scituate and the neighboring towns of Cohasset and Hingham. There are several Trustees of Reservations properties nearby for walking as well as Wompatuck State Park. Scituate beaches require a resident sticker to park. I can recommend a free place to park about 3/4 mile from one of the Scituate beaches. Easier to explain in person. Nantasket Beach in Hull, Brant Rock and Rexhame Beaches in Marshfield all have public parking for $10 or $15 per day. North Scituate Village and the commuter rail to Boston are about 3/4 mile away. The beaches are 2 to 3 miles away. Ride shares and taxis are not readily available in this area. Please plan accordingly. It is the perfect place to stay for events in the area, weddings, showers, graduations, concerts, etc., for business travelers, and those wanting to explore Boston, the South Shore and the Cape. No parties, events or guests, I live in the home and appreciate the peace and quiet. Only registered guests allowed on the property. No smoking anywhere on the premises.
