The space The bedroom is quiet and peaceful, in the back of the house with a nice view of back yards and trees. The queen sized sofa bed has a 5-inch, firm, high resiliency foam mattress, so comfortable! There is a deck off your room, a nice place to sit and read or talk, have coffee, wine or a meal during good weather. Guest access You have your own private bedroom and bathroom. There is a deck off your room. You're welcome to use the kitchen and dining area. I have Amazon Prime, Netflix, and a DVD player and some DVDs. I provide coffee and tea. If you are here for a week or more, I can launder your clothes. There are also laundromats nearby. There is free parking on the street. I will give you a permit that you can put on your dashboard while you're here. You'll get ticketed and towed if you're parked on the street on the once-a-month street cleaning morning, but you can move your car around the corner that morning. Pay attention to street cleaning signs! It takes 5-10 minutes to walk to the subway at Porter Square. It takes 25 minutes to walk to Harvard Square. There are lots of shops and restaurants nearby. I provide suggestions for restaurants, museums, historical tours, shopping, beaches. During your stay I'm always available to answer questions about the space, the neighborhood, and things to do in Cambridge or Boston, and to help with any problem relating to the space.
