RATES ARE FOR 1 SINGLE ROOM. THERE CAN BE NO OTHERS IN THE ROOM, ONLY YOU. Your room is 1 of 4. You share the apartment and the 2 bathrooms with 3 other nurses or medical technicians. To keep the apartment showroom gorgeous 24/7, there is a roommate agreement that requires that all shared spaces are immaculate & QUIET 24/7! 91 day minimum! - no taxes! 8 times Super host!! 5 star reviews! 1 block Whole Foods, CVS & cafes, !Age Minimum = 25 for booking guest or parental co-signor. The space Single room. 1 person per room. Since the rooms are rented individually on a ‘rolling’ basis , the 4 rooms are never available all at the same time. If you have others you are hoping to rent with, they could only rent a room based on its specific calendar availability. You would be 1 of 4 others sharing the living spaces and bathrooms. The other roommates are medical temps who I the manager select separately. It’s a tad complicated! Sunny, airy & elegant shared common living room, four private bedrooms, each with a queen size bed. Stunning architect’s custom made double French doors with Versailles brass hardware & elegant translucent glass panels that create a light airy & sophisticated corridor where you’ll find 4 graceful private bedrooms, that share the decorators lovely shared living / dining room, deluxe architect's kitchen and the 2 shared designer baths. Savor the fresh scent of brand new everything! -Fully applianced kitchen -Two full designer share bathrooms, 1 with tub & 1 with huge walk-in shower. [ 2 people share each bath ] Outstanding central location close to 'Orange' subway/Stony brook station to downtown, Mass General, Northeastern, Boston Medical, Tufts Medical, then financial district. Super close 39 bus-quick to Harvard/Longwood medical affiliated hospitals - Beth Israel, Brigham, Children's Dana Farber and Harvard affiliated research institutions, Mass Pharmacy, Northeastern, the mfa, MassArt & arts corridor, then downtown/back bay. and super close to the #39 bus that goes to Harvard medical's Longwood affiliated hospitals and research institutions, great restaurants, cafes, shops, CVS and Whole Foods grocery store. Near Harvard Medical School affiliated Longwood Hospitals and research center. 3-4 miles to the downtown business district and Back Bay boutique shopping district as well as the world famous historical ‘Freedom trail’ that guides you through the American Revolution historical sites. Please note that antique wooden houses, unlike concrete hotels, have some creaks and noises that are to be expected as in any wooden residential house. While many guests are perfectly fine with the creaks of a storybook charming antique house, others much prefer the creak free total silence of concrete constructed hotels and this is one reason why this luxury option that has 4 lovely bedrooms is such a great, affordable value over very expensive, hotel rooms! If you are a very light sleeper and very noise sensitive, an antique wooden house is not the right match as there are times when you may hear footsteps from the guests above. Washer / dryer : Please note that while there is a coin operated washer / dryer on site for your shared use with me - your onsite resident host and other guests in other apartments in this large house; it is in the unfinished basement. Please note that the unfinished basement is a true basement, not nearly as pretty as the decorator lovely apartments, but super convenient. There is also a laundromat 1 block away if spiffier, finished space is more preferred. NO SMOKING OF ANY KIND IN THE APARTMENT OR WITHIN 50 FEET OF THE HOUSE. The booking guest is responsible for informing all of traveling companions of this, and all house rules. BOOKING Before you request to book, please make sure your profile is fully completed and includes your clear photo and your ID. Accounts with no clear picture of you will not be accepted for common sense security. [ e.g no pix of flowers, kittens, sunsets or of you from several feet away ] !Primary booking guest must be 25 or older! Profile must be filled out completely with govt issued ID & Clear Face pic required For 12 month leases with our deep discount, Utilities (Heat and Cable) not included for long term guests. For a 12 month guest, The security deposit is 1 month's rent and held in a separate escrow account per Massachusetts General Laws. Shorter term deposits for shared medical professionals are $1,000. Application required with housing references and employment verification. Then, if approved, there is a massachusett's rha lease with a roommate agreement. Roommate agreement spells out the common sense good rules, that great people love! E.g keeping the kitchen super clean and dishfree 24/7 along with keeping common areas neat and tidy with all of your personal belongings always in your room, such as never leaving shoes, umbrellas, beach chairs, mail or anything else in the entry foyer. !! Very Important!! Once lease is signed, you may not cancel. it's a fully binding lease for the period specified. Please be sure you understand this. During your stay If our paths cross, terrific, otherwise, we'll leave you to your privacy. I live in the building & love saying hello if I see you. Please be sure you understand this. With this unique shared housing, there is a strict no cancellation policy. -Parking - there is no onsite parking. The gravel driveway is not for guest use. Street parking is free and plentiful. Your profile picture For building security - you are required to post a clear picture of your face. We cannot accept pictures of flowers, sunsets, landscapes or blurry photos taken from a distance. Booking requests without clear facial pictures cannot be accepted. -! lost keys ! The house has a sophisticated ‘total security’ lock & key system that requires a custom cut key by our professional locksmith. If a key is not returned to the lockbox, or the kitchen bowl ; cutting a new replacement key requires a special locksmith service that can exceed $100. Simply remember to return your key to the lockbox & 3 to the kitchen bowl upon departure. What's in the cleaning fee and what is not? A small point of clarity regarding the ‘cleaning’ service. The term should be ‘turnover services’ that focuses on hospitality services such as professionally laundered linens & towels and replenishing necessities such as toilet paper, soaps & shampoos very quickly, 7 days a week, in the short period in between guests. While the professional team also provides bathroom cleaning and fresh ‘surface wipe down’ services, the team does not pick up ‘ unreasonable trash & debris’ and does not wash dishes. Prior to leaving, guests are fully expected to clean all dishes, pots & pans and run the dishwasher by 9:30am so it ready to be unloaded by the turnover team. The sink and all kitchen surfaces must be clear of all dishes. You must also remove all personal items from every room and place all trash in the trash or recycling pail in the bedrooms or kitchen. If the kitchen pail is full, you can simply put trash in another bag that is provided in the apartment. If trash accumulates during your stay, you are encouraged to bring trash or recycling to the trash storage shed under the back porch. And please use the barrel for #6 only. Regrettably, if there is an unreasonable amount of trash left, the ‘hospitality turnover & cleaning services’ will charge an extra fee and this will affect your formal guest rating. While 99.9% of our guests leave our apartments cleaner than they found it, a tiny rare few, regrettably do not. You may leave dry goods such as tea, spices, unopened boxes of shelf stable items, cooking oils, salt, sugar, wrapped snacks, candy etc. Registration details Exempt: This listing is a unit used for furnished institutional or business stays
