For those looking for an authentic and local New Orleans experience, this is the perfect place for groups to stay! Overlooking Freret St, the trendy uptown neighborhood known for its amazing food scene, this neighborhood feels miles away from the highly trafficked tourist areas, while still being close to everything. This incredibly spacious 3 bedroom apartment is walking distance to great restaurants, cafes and the St. Charles Streetcar, and only a 10 minute drive to the French Quarter. The space This enormous apartment, beautifully renovated in August 2018, is perfect for groups looking to stay with plenty of comfort and New Orleans charm! It boasts three massive bedrooms, a large and well-stocked kitchen, and gorgeous period details including some of the original woodwork, antique hardwood floors, and local artwork & furnishings. With natural light streaming through the windows, the apartment feels even larger than it already is, and offers modern touches such as new memory foam mattresses, an in-unit washer, and dryer and central air conditioning, and more than enough space for 6 guests to stay! Sleeping: The three incredibly large bedrooms, each with a new, king size memory foam mattress fitted with soft and comfortable sheets, all have natural light streaming through the windows, plus extra seating and tons of space, for a peaceful retreat at the end of the day. An air mattress and additional linens can also be provided with advance notice given to the host. One of the bedrooms also has a desk if a dedicated work space is needed. Kitchen: The spacious kitchen is perfect for making a light snack or a cooking a full meal, with stainless steel appliances, including a dishwasher, microwave and stove, plus pots, pans, dishware, utensils & cooking staples such as salt, pepper & olive oil. A drip coffee maker is provided, with complementary coffee, filters & sugar for your convenience. Dining: The dining table, located in the living room, comfortably seats 4 and can also be used as a work space if needed. Living Area: The light-filled living room has a sofa, chair, and flat screen TV, along with the dining table. Entertainment: For the TV, located in the living room, we provide a streaming device that can be used with your personal accounts such as Netflix, Hulu or Prime. We also provide free high-speed WIFI. Please note that we do not have cable/satellite TV, but do provide an HD antenna that receives several channels. Bathroom: There is one bathroom, which has both a shower and bathtub, plus new and comfortable towels. Washer & Dryer: For your convenience, we have an in-unit washer & dryer (located in the bathroom) available for use free of charge. Central Air Conditioning: We have central air conditioning to help keep you cool and comfortable during the warm, New Orleans summers! Parking: One secure, dedicated off-street parking space is available for your stay. If additional parking is needed, it may be available upon request. *** Please Note *** The building does require going up stairs to access the building and unit so it may be challenging for anyone with mobility issues. Guest access Guests have access to the entire apartment plus the secure parking lot. Electronic Door Lock: For your convenience, we utilize an electronic door lock to make check-in/check-out simple and to make sure you never have to worry about carrying around your keys. We will send the code and instructions before your stay. Other things to note ** Location ** Please note this apartment is located directly on the bustling Freret, and therefore you may hear some light street noise from time to time during your stay. ** Stairs ** The building does require going up stairs to access the building and unit so it may be challenging for people with mobility issues. ** Pets** We accept dogs and other permanently caged animals only. No cats. Pets are assessed non-refundable “Pet Rent” of $75 or $25/night, whichever is greater for the first pet, while the second pet receives a 50% discount. This rate is not included in our quoted price - it is an additional surcharge. Please contact us prior to check in to arrange for the additional "Pet Rent". All dogs must remain on the leash while in public spaces. Dog owner must pick up all waste. Dogs must not exhibit excessive barking or other behaviors which disrupt the quiet enjoyment of any other space in the building. Dog owner shall not allow any pets on to any furniture for any reason. Dog owner is responsible for all pet hair and “shedding”. Landlord will pass along any additional extra cleaning fees to dog owner. Dog owner is responsible for any and all damage to the apartment, furniture, or other property by pet.
