Historic Bonanza Inn Room 4 in Virginia City

This building was constructed in 1866 and served as the county courthouse when Virginia City was the territorial capital of Montana. Once the present courthouse replaced this one, 3 Catholic Sisters of Charity from Leavenworth, Kansas used the building to open St. Mary's Hospital for miners. The hospital briefly prospered before the placer gold was exhausted in. In 1940 Mr. Bovey remodeled the interior as a hotel but little has changed on the exterior from the eighteen seventies. The space The Inn is located one block from the historic district. Guest access Guests have a lobby with coffee maker and seating. A microwave is also located in the lobby and is available for guest use. The main door to the Inn is secured with a keypad and each guest will have a unique key to their individual rooms. Each room has a private bathroom, window, and bed with minor unique differences between rooms. During your stay The Inn is designed for self check in. You will be sent your code for the front door on the day of your reservation. Your room key will be hanging on your door.
