A simple 1920's farmhouse cabin in the stunning Ruby Valley. Our cabin overlooks two creeks, mountains, and neighboring cattle ranch. This is rural Montana at its finest. Tranquil setting, yet just a short walk to town. World class fly fishing within minutes. One hour to major airport and just 2 hours west of Yellowstone NP. Kitchen area has drip coffee maker, microwave, gas stove/oven, and a small refrigerator with freezer. There is a BBQ grill and picnic table out front next to the creek. The space The main level has a kitchen/dining room, plus the main room with gas fireplace and priceless view of the nearby mountain peaks, and a bathroom with shower. Stairs lead to the attic which is converted to sleeping quarters with a queen bed and two double beds. The cabin is adjacent to our 1890 home. Guest access The entire cabin is exclusively yours. You are welcome to hike around the pastures and the creeks as well, just please make certain that all gates stay closed! All children under 12 must be accompanied by an adult at all times. Other things to note We insist that you not smoke anywhere on the property please! We have one or two very large and very friendly dogs (fenced separately) who adore kids (but not other dogs). You are welcome to visit with our horses, but please don't offer them anything to eat. They think fingers are tasty. All children under 12 need to be accompanied by an adult at all times.
