Marina and boat ramp within a half mile, 2 bay front restaurants within a 5-10 min drive or walk the boards to the Anchor Inn in downtown Ocean Gate. Beach and boardwalk just 2 doors from home. There’s a Shoprite Super Market, Rite Aid and Walgreens pharmacies all just outside of Ocean Gate on Route 9 / Atlantic City Blvd. There’s a convenience store, a coffee/ice cream shop and Linda’s Pizza within a block of The Anchor Inn and the river and boardwalk, on Ocean Gate Ave. It’s a 15 min walk or 2 min drive. When you get out to route 9, if you turn right, there’s a gym at the first light on right, along with Mikes subs, Bagels and just about a block farther another pizza shop and pretzels, as well as my favorite Sub World! Uber and Lyft available! 5 Beach badges will be available at house during summer season. Tennant will be charged $35 each for any lost badge. Children under 12 do not need a beach badge. Badge season starts in mid June thru mid Sept. Although dogs are allowed in my home and fenced yard, they must be on a leash off property and are not allowed on Ocean Gate’s beach or boardwalk, sadly, year round now. If you walk them around the point you can see the water from the road, so it’s a nice walk.
